The problem is that as istock already did, in 2020 shutter leaves fair payments to contributors on the shoulders of other agencies, leaving the burden of decent commissions on adobe. It is a matter of time before Adobe lowers our commissions, perhaps in my case this movement is no longer necessary to put aside the professional microstock and send them photos of my cat. Adobe is my 1st earner...because Shutter is at 50%-60% with the 0.10 trick
But it looks like AS gets more revenue from each sale than SS?
Supposing we gets $0.10 and that is 15% of image's price. That means SS gets $0.57 (85%) per image.
At AS, the lowest we gets is $0.33 (33% of image's price). That means AS gets $0.67 (67%) per image. And there are also more frequent medium-value sales at AS.
The next factor is number of sales between AS and SS. And it looks like AS is gaining much more downloads than before? For me, it is. And from the forum's poll results (62.4 vs 31.9), it probably is.
Not necessarily. For example, my SS RPD for May was $1.46/dl, while my AS RPD for May was $1.40/dl. For June, my SS RPD is $1.42/dl, while my AS RPD dropped to $0.99/dl
You forget to include the big sales that are more frequent on SS than on AS.
Big Sales on SS? You must be lucky! I dont know what you are talking about!
I am talking about stuff like this (recorded this month on SS):
Yes, I know! I had already seen that.
I don't have to explain it to you - we've known each other long enough for that now, but I actually had exactly one download for an impressive $6.95 this month. The rest were in the minimum range.
It's not only that Wilm. Last month I got these image sales like this: These are more frequent and more valuable than what I get on AS, hence the higher SS RPD.

I seriously doubt that the hearings have an impact on Trump's cult.
https://youtu.be/hNIJH5gufaQ
Video not available in Australia. But I agree with you that it most likely won't have an effect on right wing extremists or those who only watch Fox News.
Maybe this one: https://youtu.be/sjoI85MoXjM (or you could try to circumvent country restrictions with a VPN). Spoiler alert, some of these cult followers suspect that even Fox News is part of some anti-Trump conspiracy! Imagine that! )

It's not like that with me. Everything is quite normal. The RPD for images is for me in the period of a year at $1.17. Sometimes a little more, sometimes a little less. But I don't have such significant increases in downloads as you do.
I can see a few good weeks here and there, but the earnings total is about the same. But I can clearly see a step up in downloads in 2022 (magenta line on the graph).
This explains why my RPD dropped from $1.62 during the second half of 2021, to $1.30 this year.
Does your RPD include your video sales?
However, I know that my numbers are not as statistically significant as yours. Because you have, although you have zero talent, sold approximately twice as much compared to me.
Anyway, I'm satisfied with AS. And it's currently the only agency I can say that about.
Yes, it does. Most likely this is why my RPD dropped. Let's remember that video earnings were significantly slashed lately, hence the RPD hit.

Just checking! I usually have sales every day at 123rf, but not on 16+17+18+19+20 June. What about you? I had a sale again on the 21st, so it could just be bad luck. Or has the sales reporting stalled again those 5 days (in that case, I'll write to support again).
I have sales reported every day between June 16-21, except for Sunday the 19th.

You also don't waste time on multiple uploads and can just focus on shooting.
Just one comment: tools like Stocksubmitter are addressing this concern, making the uploads to multiple agencies effortless. Never put all your eggs in one basket.

Actually, Mat is working for Adobe, and he is also producing what we do. 😋 Your alias speaks volumes.
Exactly! 🤣

Subberstock is firing on all cylinders so far this month while not a bad month in May - did most of the heavy lifting. Go Subber! Other sites like P5 and iStock did poorly. Adobe did very well in May too though slow start so far in June. ETA Adobe has started to fire up!
Good start of the month on SS, indeed:

Why does cleaning the sensor have to be so different from cleaning a lens? You're cleaning glass, not the actual silicon - why not use a microfiber lens cloth?
A grain of dust on the sensor is very visible, while a grain of dust on the lens doesn't matter => what works for the lens may not work for the sensor.

Lets Go Brandon
Hey, in a cutesy code way, Diana tried to say Fuck Joe Biden. She doesnt like Joe Biden!
See Diana? Nobody cares.
Not even "Brandon": https://youtu.be/pR-16jcccOw
I think the whole Brandon thing is funny, especially how the NASCAR announcer had no clue. Lets not let politics ruin a sense of humor and irony.
"NEW YORK - The phrase 'Lets go, Brandon' can be traced back to an Oct. 2 NASCAR race at the Talladega Superspeedway in Alabama.
Driver Brandon Brown had won his first Xfinity Series and was being interviewed by an NBC Sports reporter.
The crowd behind him was chanting something. The reporter suggested they were chanting "Lets go, Brandon" for the driver."
I'm going to ignore the rest. Now NASCAR has dealt with the problem, by adjusting the mics that are used, and ambient background audio. Last race I listened to, it seemed they had a bit of stock crowd noise, playing behind the interview. A repeating soft cheer, like you would hear when someone is introduced. Once again, technology adjusts for the times and specific situations.
Yep, even Biden is cracking jokes about it, as we can see in that clip. Self-deprecating humor is reserved for intelligent people. Great to see this type of humor again, after a gap of 4 years filled with childish name-callings!

Nice "symmetry"! Obviously, critical thinking is more challenging than being a Hannity, Carlson, Pirro or Ingraham mouthpiece.

I love how conservatives complain about the evils of socialism and how free market capitalism solves all problems . Then when the law of supply and demand kicks in and the price of gas goes up 50 cents a gallon they complain that the government isnt doing enough. 😂

Well, if you look the green part as the market price, blue as the gas station profit and the red part is what governments are taking from the cake I wouldn't call this free market by any means
Would you ?
That pie chart is most likely valid for Europe. In the US, gas taxes are much lower. For example, in Pennsylvania, the state with the highest gas tax in the US ($0,76/gallon) the tax percentage is only 16% of today's price ($4.57/gallon).

Elections are close. As we can see, the GQP mouthpieces were released in the wild with their updated speaking points. I'm happy to see progress!
We are now talking about the economy, instead of stolen elections, the great reset, pedophile rings or Jewish lasers... 👍

I wonder what the story is here. Looks more and more like Stan had to leave very quickly/ unexpectedly for whatever reason.
Stan obviously worked on the P5 deal before his departure. Maybe his departure is even part of the P5 deal. Such things happen during important mergers/acquisitions.

Thanks to the incompetent idiots in charge, we're on our way to a recession.
I anticipate that many companies with either start downgrading or cancelling their microstock accounts from sites like SS and AS.
My SS sales has dipped in the last few weeks. Less big sales and less daily downloads.
Just brace yourselves for what's to come and stop supporting people who are economically illiterate.
It's funny how conservatives worldwide always claim recession and inflation are the fault of the current government and never based on the mistakes of the former one.
Right. The money printing machine was running at max capacity when Trump was in power when the US broke its Debt to GDP record, previously established just after WWII. Far from me to say that Biden is innocent, but Trump even insisted to put his signature on those checks printed out of thin air. Let's also remember his threats towards the Fed, forcing them to lower interest rates, because his own personal debt was piling up. Now we are obviously paying the price for Trump's "generosity", but Fox News fans seem to forget that.

This was probably new developer not aware that internal customer accounts for testing software features already exist; so he/she created new one & made couple of "purchases" which then got reported to outside world
Probably. The reply is also saying the technical team is apologizing.
