They should just delete all the junk that hasn't sold in the last 2 years, it would solve many problems, at least servers wouldn't be overladen
I agree 100%, why not all the NINE years?

I don't know, but I found that my last batches approved at SS haven't been mirrored to Bigstock, for at last 15 days...
Same here __ probably rather longer than that for me. I note that SS has only approved '52K new images this week' which suggests that inspecting may be being slowed down whilst they investigate the issues.
I believe they are downsizing staff, have no other explanation for such a huge delay in reviews (over a week as you may know), I am not far from 3 years at SS and never seen something like this and it going on for over 1 month perhaps..
It has been going on for years, you are just lucky enough to not have been hit.
SS has been adding staff. http://www.indeed.com/q-Shutterstock-jobs.html
In the past the problem was not as wide spread and it was also less frequent so the lucky majority were not impacted by the bugs. Over time SS ignored the problems and the submitters affected by them and the bugs grew and have become more widespread with increased frequency and severity.
you mean INSANELY lucky no?? in almost 3 years I dont remember waiting over 48h, mostly below 24h

132,175 images - all royalty-free 18,619 members x 10 would be a lot of money..

REMOVING YOUR IMAGES:

If you wish to remove your photograph from the picturenation website after that time you should inform the company by e-mail or in writing and the photograph will be removed within 14 working days from time the request is received. DT started very strong this month, then died totally. No sales since the 4th! Terrible. Hope they fix the search results, as its killing my sales.
not only DT, all agencies since Thursday, hope it gets back soon, Tuesday I guess

Laurin, what luissantos84 is trying to say is that any forum member can click the blue heart of anyone's post in the upper right hand corner to mark it as useful (for the one who clicks on it anyway...). This can be for either useful information, making a good joke or just when someone feels like it.
This should answer both questions.
wasnt I clear??

they dont know? thats a great one sorry to tell you but that is an awesome statement, what are they selling everyday? sure agencies have tons of crap.. we all have pictures that have never sold, not even once but saying agencies dont know the usefulness of a pic its quite too much.. beside that happy birthday, seen the topic at SS

it would be non sense unless they are looking for immaculated pics which I am sure they arent.. sure the artsy look is so cool etc etc but come on it must have all the crap IS inspectors are so keen to find out lol.. will IS have an iphone category?

Crikey, I thought those poll amounts were incredibly low, and just realised this is an old thread!
Yeah, when I got to the reply from TheMiz I looked at the date. Oh Boy 2008. Now there's a place to find an answer? Whoever has the MIZ account and is probably not adding anything new, I'd wonder how that's doing after 3-4 years? I'm also not expecting a direct answer. But it would be interesting as a real example?
RJMIZ on DT: http://www.dreamstime.com/rjmiz_info Joined: July 12, 2005 Rjmiz's account statistics: Uploaded files: 1,109 Total sales: 13,840 Downloads per image: 12.48
Hypothetical 50c per download (hey I had to pick a number, pick any number...) $6.50 per image after seven years. Come back in a year and see what the numbers are?
I would say at least 1$

dont know the higher quotas but perhaps there is one like that
>250 and <2500 is 5% over 2500 is 10%
I don't think so - I'm not within an ass' roar of those numbers in port size or dls & have 15%
you know or you dont know I will see if I can find that info

Its fun to choose P+ and see its contribution to whole income. I feel i need quota more than 1/3rd lol
It already looks like you're the man, since no one else got a quota of 1/3 of the port
dont know the higher quotas but perhaps there is one like that >250 and <2500 is 10% over 2500 is ??
