It might look good, BUT when I click on August - it shows the sales from Sept and April down below (that is the date of sales reported anyway).

For July is shows August, Sept, May, March, and April sales. plus the dates jump around and repeat as I scroll down.


 I am curious what images are popular for the all you can eat buffet. A quick look seems that the subs average around .19 each. It would be nice to see what images sold and what I made from each sale. I bet there are some crazy low ones and some that are pretty big, but I have no way of really knowing.

Easy changes they could make - show the number of subs sales for the current month.

not so easy changes - show the actual sub sales and amounts

easy or not - show the sales for the selected month in chronological order.

I had a best seller that sold about once a day for about 4 years or so, then one day it went from one of the top 2 or 3 rows of a one word search with about 2000 pages of results at the time to I don't know where (I searched 25 pages or so without finding it). Daily sales stopped. Eventually I got another sale and searched again - this time it was 4 or so pages back. It gets a sale a month or so now. Search placement makes a big difference and that is one instance where a change made a noticeable difference in my income.

This happened years ago.  As far as SS deterioration goes. Mine could be all a result of the dilution of my images amongst the millions. It has dropped to about a third or a quarter of their high point. This is both less total sales and the almost complete disappearance of big sales (over $3) and the drastic reduction of OD sales.

So you get 8 cents from Getty instead of 35 cents from Canva and people wonder why people are bitter and angry at the agencies (but I can't see why Canva has switched all the sales over if they are paying Getty 50 cents instead of us 35 cents). I wonder how long it will be before there is a 3-agency sale (or if we are already getting the pennies from that). Just imagine how much more we will make when 3 or more agencies each take their compound cut before we get ours. Even at a mythical unsustainable 50% split we would only get 12.5% of a 3-agency sale and 6.25% of a 4-agency sale. Now think about that with only getting 15-30% of each split. sigh.

i left istock a while back too, it was right in the middle of one of their accounting errors, a lot of copntributors had extra cash in their accounts. as it turns out this was also an accounting error and they istock were going to correct the error and lots of accounts were put in red. i also had like $100 extra in my account, but i closed my account and requested pay out. i got the money and my accont was closed. they never recouped their money from me, i must have been in a rare category to be able to take money from istock instead of the other way around lol,

or maybe they kept selling stuff until they evened out.

I guess money is what makes THEM happy.

Alamy seems to be 20% less worth it than last year. Actually probably even less worth it, since sales seem to be lower everywhere and we get 20% less out of each sale unless they are distributor sales which tend to be low $ sales for me. They would have gotten a much more ringing endorsement from me before their latest "unsustainable" money grab.

Sales at Alamy are all over - some big $, some under a $. Some months they are my best earner, some months 0 sales. Sometimes sales are refunded months later - often to be resold almost immediately for a few cents less. Some sales take months and months to actually be paid.

 What will sell and why is a complete mystery to me.

The keywording is a pain there, and it isn't clear at all what actually helps and what hurts.

I would need about 10 million more images or video to sell.

SS is pretty weak for me this month too - Like more than half the days are weekend days poorly. June and December were also particularly bad, but this month is on track to be worse.

Probably my #2 site this month, but that is only because the other sites are mostly doing very poorly too.

I don't know if it is some algorithm shift or just the cumulative effect of how the numbers are going - a similar number of sales for less $ spread among lots and lots of competing images.

It looks like they did not remove them from my most recent upload.

I have a few of those.

It is surprising how good the pics are through the busted filter. One took 2 people and a pair of pliers to remove, but the lens was good.

Can anyone say what they get for a standard Canva sale through Getty? On Canva there are 3 tiers, normal common 1$ sales for which Canva pays .35  uncommon 10$ sales for which they pay $3.50 and almost non-existent $100 sales which they pay $35.

I am curious what a sale through Getty makes the artist.
