An old proverb from planet Vulcan says:
"If you do not know what you can do, there's always one solution: Do nothing!"

When is payout day for Cutcaster?
Request when you want when you reach $20, from what I remember. I did get a payout once a while back.
I have one with pending status since 19th January... I thought it would be till 15th of this month but anything yet, tomorrow will be a month from my request...

Hahahaha! You can't measure your data on relative way... In fact you can, but results are unusable for comparison...
Here is explanation: If I have 100 images on first year, and I can produce cca 100 images per year, this means that growth of my portfolio is 100% in second year, so probably income raise will be excellent (with doubled portfolio)...
But after 5 years, if I am still making 100 images/year, my portfolio will be bigger only 20% than previous year.. So,how can I expect a larger increase in earnings in the last, in relation to the second year...?
When you look at your percentage changes from year to year, this is the main reason, folks ...
Otherwise you have to double production every year...

Thank you guys! I think that social networks mean not much for promotions of these products... I had my private site on Smugmug, I tracked stats on google analytics, for Zazzle also... At the end, not a single sale from promotions through social networks...

Hi Oboy, excellent blog to promote your products! I am on Zazzle cca for a year ad half... Here is my store: http://www.zazzle.com/sbotas/gifts?cg=196861951357430013So, is there any tricks to bring more customers to that store? Also, here is still more effort than money, compared with Microstock for me ...

Hi! Dario, I understand what you want to say... Reason is not that I am trying to avoid taxes in my country (my earnings are small even for taxes)... I just asked if it is possible to make cost of transactions less than 2,9%, and is there any alternative to MB, because I use only MB since now... Probably not if they have to pay insurance of our money, as you say so...
Also, my question was mainly because of this:
Please be kindly informed that the fees, currently applicable to your account, can be significantly reduced in accordance to the transaction volumes processed via our services. In this regards, we would kindly ask you to get back to us once you have reached a sufficient transaction volume, allowing us to adjust the fees applied...
Why they are talking that is possible to reduce fees, how many transactions or what is sufficient transaction volume...? So problem is in transaction volume, not in amount, or something else... This is a very indefinite...

Well, iI am not talking about taxes, I am talking about cost of transactions for my money... Tax is personal matter between me and my country...
I am talking about fees on my transactions on MB.... So, why I have to pay 2,90% to them on all my money, if that fees weren't here till now...? I am just asking what is alternative, cost of alternative or is there a way to get back to personal type of MB account...??

Today I get same mail too!
So this mean that they will charge 2,9% on every payout that I receive... Does it better to redirect my payouts on Paypal?
What is your experinece!?
P.S.

What this mean!? I should have less transactions to reduce this fees, or what?

Alamy is the traditional stock agency and their RF licenses are different from these new RF agencies ... Probably the closest explanation is that Alamy only sells EL licenses ... Prices in this case are even cheaper on Alamy, if you compare the license terms and possibility of using...

Zazzle has been inflexible about their interpretation of the IRS rules. We should not be taxed on sales outside USA. I am yet to write IRS and maybe if Zazzle reads their answer they will change (I doubt however).
Anyway, I think that in the case of members from countries with treaties (what is unfortunately not my case), you get taxed at Zazzle, but this can be deducted when doing the tax report in your country. Isn't it so?
Yes! You shouldn't have double tax on same value...

IS isn't friendly any more for independent contributors... Obviously they shift their customers to Getty, also they are sending many invitations to exclusive contributors to make transfer to Getty... So probably Getty don't want to have two or more crews on different agencies, that cost much more.... In this transition period they will transfer Istock's market to Getty, some photographers also... The work of independent photographers will be completely devalued through the Thinkstock... So this is a process, not good for us!

My sales are on 30% of usual for this month...- 70% can't be normal even with big "beast match" shifting!
So, I think they probably lose our sales also... Who can check this, we can't...

I heard that you don't need EL for image use on postcards...
If you want to sell those postcards, you'll need an EL.
Are you sure? Once before I posted here same problem and old contributors were told that buyers don't need EL for postcards till 250K of copies...
