Thieves are never country specific. You are over-thinking or something bad happened with you at those countries. Your comments are only revolving in the loop of country, racism, poorness of people. If these people are cheating in SS then what SS(a US company) is doing, aren't they doing the same by allowing them to do so, even when people are continuously complaining about the same. Im having the worst nightmare to close dreamstime account. I have never sold anything consistently in that site and they are telling me that will take 6 months to close the account. What can I do? I need to be exclusive with another agency really soon and need to close this account. Any thoughts?
Email them for fast closer and see what they say... or wait for 6 month before getting exclusive. Same is the case with alamy too.

Upload more images it doesn't make any difference whether they are any good. I dont think its actually used for anything.
Yes, that's the point, I upload a lot and quality work only, surprised to see that my score is so low. Even the sales in DT is not so good comparing with others. Then I looked at the number and wondered that my images are not even reaching the buyers due to so low exposure. Its like do whatever you want and we won't increase 0.01%.

Boy, are buyers going to be pi$$ed when they see these ads, think they are going to a professional site, then on the first search they have to wade through thousands of crap similars. What a waste of shutterstocks money. They should have used the $ to clean up the site.
Its good if they delete the never sold content of over 5+ years. This will really refresh the library and trash all the crappy and spammy images.
"August 4, 2014 - Shutterstock celebrates 40 million images in it's collection". Theres now 244 million even if 80% never sold its a small fraction. The problem is not what was being accepted then. Its what is accepted now.
Yes, they are increasing the numbers forgetting about the quality of content. They should firstly delete all those too old unsold images from library and then apply strict rules for spamming. Like accepting only 2-3 images which are too similar or with very slight variations.

Few months back, I have removed my files from section of "Sell the rights" and now they are continuously sending emails mentioning: "Your file appears to be suitable for logo usage. Since this usage is allowed only under the exclusive rights license SR-EL, we strongly recommend you enable the SR-EL (SR-EL). This way, you ensure your file attains its maximum sale potential and sells for the highest earning license.

How did Fridays become like Saturdays and Sundays now? Usually they were like any other working week day.
My Friday was like a good Wednesday (over $120). Today, a Saturday, is like a Friday, with 2 ELs and counting.
Just a matter of perspective

Sorry. Agencies have a history of cutting commissions with the promise of greatly increased sales/ income, only to pocket the extra cash and contributors seeing nothing from it.
The meme is from a Coen brothers film on netflix, the guy's about to be hanged for a second time and speaking to the guy next to him.
Oh, I need to watch the series then My sales have reduced after the commission cut, but I am not too concerned for this agency. Focusing more on Big 4.

I do not believe. ONE single contributor pushed up for quite all simple search key? There should be other explanation.
New contributor having more visibility is not conspiracy theory, it's perfectly legit.
But why should be only one between hundreds, maybe thousands, it's nonsense and goes against agency itself interests.
Could this account be company owned content?
There is probability for this, don't know.. I have seen there is a topic in their contributor forum too with no official reply till now.
