Strange is that order of popular images in my portfolio is different from overall order in Shutterstock.

As for Stockfresh I have many images rejected for same reason but I'm not going to solve it at all. "EPS file is damaged" is frequent reason as well
However ridiculous reasons of rejections are I don't discuss any rejections with any site at all. As it is common that image is accepted by 19 sites and rejected by one of them I would spend hour a day explaining to reviewers that they are wrong.
Nevertheless I would use general phrase: I have submitted these images to xxx sites and had never got one of them rejected because of this reason.

Hey MS Folks,
Has anyone else noticed that when your upload files to Panther Media the keywords are not being placed in their system thus I have to redo the keywords again. Not fun to have to do so much work on getting files there...

I am willing to support small / new sites, even if sales are few. But they should play their part as well...
I tried photaki one year ago and noticed two major problems:
1. despite having IPTC and FTP, there's still a lot of work to do on their site to submit pictures. No good (especially for a low seller);
2. they seem to translate all keywords to Spanish and back to English, with all resulting errors from double (useless) automated translation;
and regarding support, they once replied to my email after about 6 months - must be the longest time ever;
If they'll fix these issues, I will try once more. Otherwise, bye bye.
Same here. I don't need to make thousands immediately. I make on Photaki same zero as on Zoonar. But when I have any difficulty with Zoonar, Michael sends me reply back in few hours. Last Photaki bug that made me angry is that I am supposed to correct my descriptions and keywords that were destroyed by THEIR system - they added "+" and `@*&*{&" in front of and between words - (what a surprise - no reply from them). It also happen that some of keywords (usually very important) are removed during their incomprehensible "translation of translation" process. Also it's great that system offers you keywords that you can add, unfortunately many of them they forgot to translate to English and and and.... But it seems that "Bye bye" won't be that easy.

I could try to write to their support but it is more probable that Santa Claus would reply to my letter regarding D800.

Little OT: Anybody has some personal experience with Wacom Inkling? For me it looks too great to be true. Still waiting to hear about some glitches. http://www.wacom.com/en/Products/Inkling.aspxEdit: Sorry - it's not available yet. It was supposed to be in shops in September.

It happened a few times, they will pop up in about 24 hours. I just got the mail about my latest batch, and they are all up there instantly... but it takes them almost a week to show in the catalog manager --  anybody experiencing that?
Images appear in catalog manager when they can be found in "most relevant" and "most popular" search. Images appear immediately only in "sort by new" search after approval. "Popular" and "Relevant" takes few days more.

First try if you can find them with keywords in Shutterstock (not in your portfolio). It happens that you can find them even if they are not in your portfolio.

Have you ever heard of http://pinterest.com ? I'm no copyright expert but I find very strange that there is possibility to embed the "pinned" image to your blog. Then there is a 4pt small text under embedded (imho in fact stolen) image with source: www. xxxxx.xxx. Pinterest writes something about respecting intellectual property and that I can send them DMCA if I find.... blah blah... but I don't like it at all - in fact anybody can add to his blog my image that had found anywhere in web and that had been paid by anyone else with false feeling that it is legal. Or is it really legal?

When this glitch appeared SS asked to be contacted - they wanted ids of missing images so they could fix it.
At the moment it doesn't make a sense to contact them because as for this issue they usually don't answer at all and if they do so - it's only general phrase that it may take up to 72 hour for image to be fully indexed. It would be fine if 72 hours would be common for all the images but it's obviously not.
Another thing is - and this is not a bug - that new images are searchable only if you sort images by date - newest or oldest - for "most popular" or "relevant" search it takes few days more.

Yes - disappearing act is back. Fortunately it seems that this time missing images can be found with keywords in Shutterstock database (not in our portfolio) and disappeared only from our portfolios. It was worse last time when the images were totally "unsearchable".

OK, communication with SS is really not easy.
But there are 316,087 photographers. 22 of them have some problems with payments. I am not brilliant mathematician but if I am not mistaken - 0.007% of contributors didn't get their money in time. I don't think it looks like financial trouble.
I fully understand that it is very very unpleasant situation for affected contributors and I'm sorry for them. But please stop this nonsencial gossip and don't call administrative disorder financial crisis.

I don't want to be unfair so I clicked on "health" category of images. How can we (not mentioning buyers) take seriously agency that accept such a terrible images? I'm afraid that "Stock Funny" is the right name.

Their logo is first serious reason why not to upload without reading anything else about them.
Many microstock sites have logo that is not good but this one is first one that let ten years old kid to design it.

Despite the commission cut, my sales look like they'll be about 30% higher than yesterday.
Is it possible that the new site is more user friendly and encourages more sales than the old one?
How were your sales on this first day of V3?
Better than yesterday. It looks like that searching engine didn't change. I sold same images as usually. I would say that 5% of images on FT make 90% of my sales.

Does anyone know how the vector downloads were compensated at the OLD pricing model?
The new one is 1 vector download treated like 1 photo download, right?
Bronze: vector subscription sale equals 3 x XL photo subscribtion (1,08 / 0,36). I'm not sure if it was same in other levels.
