Corporate strategy 101: Porter's five forces , a good read:
http://www.quickmba.com/strategy/porter.shtml

The goal is to minimize the 5 forces to maximize profit.
This is the industry based view of strategy but are others.....

Well said Perry +1 :)

I think we should have "Big 4". (SS, IS, FT, DT). The rest is far behind.

It is a breeze to upload with Isyndica as they are fully integrated you don't even need to push the pictures!
I sent my most graphic images and got 2dl's the first week. Here is my link:

Only few of FT pictures are available and I did not find any link back to the site, there is just a promotional link to FT on the frontpage.
No you cannot choose the transition, but I think it does a good job just to put up a quick video to promote your portfolio on social media.
Audiomicro brings audio files to the platform as well.

I did mine from resized pictures at 1600 pixels, took about 10 minutes, I like the result: http://flixtime.com/video/detail/6bfd05d7ea27be3c19367718dd682ftwrQuab9Rx4lh5XPpdiJ/

I don't think it will help to sell our FT pictures like it is: you can choose only 10 pictures on each categorie from FT.....

F my video I uploaded my pictures frm my harddrive

Microstock Services / Re: isyndica
« on: February 17, 2010, 05:47 »
I upload now images, videos and audio via Isyndica, it is very handy to have all in one place:)
The platform is always improving. Among the small features  I like is the fact that I can manage my uploads i.e put if they have been accepted or rejected (so I don't use a excel spreadsheet) and the integrated spellcheck is pretty neat:)
I use the promoting tool quite a lot as well on facebook with a customized watermark

I did not post my january earnings yet but wanted to share some SS and IS over the past 2 years. I have similar findings than FD-amateur for Shutterstock, the only good news there is my increase in $/dl (around 0.7 now)

New Sites - General / Re: Yay or Veer? What would you choose?
« on: December 18, 2009, 09:15 »
Yay is definitely the easier to submit to: they have ftp and no upload limits as far as I know. Sales are slow though

For Veer, they have upload limits sometime you can submit only 100 pictures at a time thenn have to wait for the queue to clear up.
They have ftp but never managed to make it work  ??? The upload on their site works pretty well though.
I reckon that you might have more sales than Yay

So my answer will be both: I will start by YAY using ftp, than Veer.

If it was helpful, feel free to use my affiliate link below, Veer do not have any, yet...
