I have this strange problem for a while with each D200 battery that is fully charged only showing one segment charged after briefly showing fully charged. 2 different batteries tested to be fully charged. It seems to be the camera that isn't picking up the power. Initially I had to put a small piece of paper between the battery and closing door to get a decent connection but now that no longer works. I have checked all the electrical points and they are all clean.
What could this be ?
are the terminals in the camera bent or pushed down? or have no "spring" left in them?
They seem fine.

The spot I can see through the viewfinder seems to be coming out in the same spot of the captured image. Hmmm,m

I think he's winding us up. He says he saw it clearly inside the lens, but it obviously isn't there, it's clearly a sensor spot; then he said he saw it in the viewfinder after changing lenses. It's all either imagination or nonsense - except for the spot which means the sensor needs a clean.
Like I said earlier he could have some dust in the lens another piece in the viewfinder and another one on the sensor. Only the one on the sensor will cause a spot but if you don't know it's easy to think that a big chunk of dust in the lens will do that.
Thanks for your confidence at least. That could be the very thing. It could also be on the mirror.

It certainly is not a wind up. I can clearly see a mark inside the glass. When i look thorough the viewfinder I can see a spot. Why would I lie about this ?

Herg this is a sensor spot!
Indeed it must be as I just changed the lens and I can still see it in the view finder. At least it is not the lens phew Thanks for the help. The reason I thought it was the lens is because I can see it through the viewfinder. I know this might sound silly as I haven't cleaned a sensor before but would opening the mirror and having a vacuum cleaner very close pull it away (without touching of course)

This is the spot magnified. Not had chance to swap the lens yet but will report back when done.

This is what I can't understand as I thought it would show diffused on the actual image. I will try another lens just to make sure but the spot appears in the viewfinder and on the image in the exact spot, shape and size.

I can def say it's inside the lens because I can see it under the glass and also through the viewfinder.

I have a Nikon D200 kit lens that has been fine for years. However, I have noticed a black spot on all my latest images. Looking at the lens I can see a round spot/dust mark which is actually behind the glass which is impossible to get to. It is so obvious as it shows on every shot so for now I can use lightroom to remove it. How on earth can it get behind sealed glass ? I would have thought impossible. Is there any way I can remove this myself or take apart and clean ?

Whenever in the past PP sales have started to show up in the previous month's graph, it showed in real time sales of the current month as amounts came in chunks. Yes your current balance would have increased as the payments came in. But in the accounting the money was belong added to previous month's total. I can understand the possible confusion. Your current balance should have increased as a result of the PP income being reported.
Is it possible that any sales income you received was offset by money removed the because of the over-payment ?
Thank you for understanding. Yes, you have said exactly what I mean. Not sure why folk get so impatient and sarcastic when I am trying to explain. I only had a small amount of clawbacks so it won't be that.

I don't get this at all. Whenever in the past PP sales have started to show up in the previous month's graph, it showed in real time sales of the current month as amounts came in chunks. If Sue is right then something has happened because I have a chunk of money missing I usually get from PP sales. I got nothing at all in March except my normal IS sales because I calculated every cent. I have never had a month where I got no PP sales payment.

The way it has been for me is the stats that come through the previous month always get paid the following month. So Feb stats started to show in March and should have been added to my March sales. That is how it has been every month for me only this month I am missing the PP money from Feb. It wasn't paid in Feb.

Not quite sue. What I mean is, the previous months PP sales etc start coming through ( showing up on the stats graph) on the current month, usually not long before e month is out. So feb stats started showing on my graph near the end of March but March balance only showed what was earned at IS. so I haven't been paid for the feb PP sales.

Because it always shows on your graph stats when they come in and how much they are.

All the PP and GI sales that came in for me at the end of last month for Feb did not and still have not added to my balance of earnings. No response from support after a week I have totted up all my earnings and the PP and GI have def not been added. All my normal IS download earnings for March are just for that.

Sony DSC-RX10 might fit the bill.
Thanks. It does look a cracking candidate. Much cheaper too :-)

I have been looking into getting a stills camera that shoots HD video so I can produce footage stock media. Currently I still use a Nikon D200 with the 18-70 kits lens which does me fine at a push.
I have been thinking of the Panasonic GH3 as it is amazing for video and pretty good for stills. I have heard mixed reviews about it being a serious still camera but as I use a D200 perhaps it will be an improvement ? There is also the Canon 600D which does both but the video quality is troubled with moire as are most canons.
If anyone can enlighten me a bit more I will be grateful.
Cheers.

I am certainly not exclusive and would never do something so dishonest. Why would I come on here and mention it if I did ? As soon as I got on SS in Dec 2011 I requested to become unexclusive. Looking at my profile I can see the option with both my sounds and image contributions to become exclusive. Looking at my last regular large sale I get $1.16. The same regular large file in 2013 earned me just 40 cents. Having said all that I got a great sale day at SS yesterday so that's a positive step. More of that and it will certainly beat IS

Well I can assure you they don't make me as much money as IS. Where do you get 16 cents from ? I cant see any single photo sale for my work that is that low. For instance, 3 extra small regular sales show 66,78,76 cents. Not sure why the prices differ for the same file size though but non as low as 33 cents.

Absolutely terrible last 3 days just a pathetic $1.26 and yet 100's added in the last 12 months and sales poor. For each sale you get a mere 33 cents. How are we to live off that ? At least IS pay more per sale.
