Hi Luis,
Non-exclusive contributors like yourself receive 30%.
Have a great weekend, Johnnie

Bravo for the file sold :-)
I have a question : how do you sell your files on alamy ? On the select menu when submitting your image, do you choose royalty free or right managed ?...
thanks
do you sell it on other micro agencies as RF? if so you must place RF too

Nothing very surprising: IS is going downhill and SS up.
it shows also that "other agencies" play a "big" part too, making that time worth I guess (they represent 18% in my earnings beside the top5 agencies) very nice blog post again, you have been doing a great job since day 1, congrats ON your success!

I believe it is 50% (just sent an email to Johnnie, will let you know here)

SS has sold today 2/3 of what IS sold from the beginning of this year and no, I didn't get any ELs today. I think it says it all. IS is done with indies. I'm not even thinking about uploading anymore.
small player here but I am with 30$ at IS and 175$ at SS (no EL) last week uploads at IS, have 2 sales from 2 new fies (1.8$ and 3.6$)

I dont think the popular search at SS matches the best match on IS, on SS popular is the most downloadED or at least very close

Ebay UK has a lot of Shutterstock ads all over it at the moment, which is interesting as I have noticed more of my sales coming from Europe than the US this month.
That's probably because they're targeted at you as someone who regularly visits stock image sites. I get them too ... and then cycling gear ads if I've just been looking at cycling gear ... bathroom ads if I've been looking at those ... etc, etc.
exactly, same thing on my top bar in gmail account

I'm staying in as well. Uploading takes no time (I upload to all sites at once) so there's nothing to lose. But I think more marketing couldn't hurt.
my exact thoughts, I would say until then lower the min payout to 30$

You can also see how individual images are performing on TS and Photos.com under My Uploads by clicking one of the three DL links and then clinking the Partner Program link in the list of various types of sales.

I think there might something to your theory, Warren. I have a photo of hot dogs on an outdoor grill. It's sold a whoppin' five times at IS since August 2010. At the PP sites, it's sold 74 times. With results like that, it's no wonder my earnings are in the toilet.
I have one that has 80 sales on TS and 0 at IS

1. royalties % 2. checking agency collection and if possible sales from contributors 3. min trust in agency (looking over the agency website etc) 4. option to remove portfolio if needed 5. submission (fast with not many ticks, categories, only ftp)
I am talking about small or new agencies, other agencies no chance but to upload and work with it

For a long time, it seems like (a lot of) inspectors aren't even looking at the keywords.

Our compensation was fixed: 20% of the sale price, whether it was our first sale or our 500,000th.
they were the lowest already but wanted to make sure againthe more curious was the 25% overall collection grow despite the 15% less downloads, will see 2012
