AI Generated Stock Photography / Looking for a Midjourney expert
« on: February 01, 2024, 10:33 »
I'm getting a ton of Midjourney images created with principally orange as the dominant colour. Not sure how to correct this. It just seems that most images have mainly orange in them right now. Could anyone offer some advice on this please.

This was the prompt:

A photograph of a diverse business team in a modern office, multi-ethnic group brainstorming around a table with laptops and digital tablets. Bright, airy office with large windows and cityscape view. Vivid colors, but not orange, Created Using: digital photography techniques, wide-angle lens, candid expressions, contemporary office design, urban background, high-resolution, professional attire

I find I can generate images with no problems at all but if I ask for words, after a few minutes, that's it! It's like "You've done enough, come back in 90 minutes!!!"

Does generating text in DALLE-3 images just eat up your credits?

Dreamstime.com / Any tips for good keywording on Dreamstime?
« on: February 01, 2024, 06:13 »
Is it different to keywording for other sites? I have over 400 images but am getting little to no interest.

I also decided to pay for the description/keywording through Dreamstime and, quite frankly, my dog could have done better. Nothing inventive was written by the "keywording experts" and as basic as you could get.

55
So you are saying a minimum of 5/10 per day. Interesting that I have some images that I uploaded as a batch but for some reason the are not showing up as from the same collection at the time

56
I am finding that DALLE-E 3 and Midjourney work best for me but are there others you use that you feel are actually better these days?

57
When it comes to getting images reviewed, we are told it is good to frequently upload.

However if, for example, I uploaded one image per day for 1 week but on week 2, I uploaded all 7 images on the Sunday, would that matter?
Would the frequency or way I upload images affect the way they (or order) are reviewed in?

Good.
Bottom line is AI is one thing but abusing the system by creating multiple accounts and uploading tens of thousands of images is not fair or ok.

It's gone for me now. Normal upload without having to spot 6 staircases or cars etc. Not sure if it's temporary or perhaps if they trust the ip address you're ok going forward

Adobe Stock / How have your sales been this week?
« on: January 18, 2024, 04:36 »
Something very odd for me.

90% of my sales for 2024 were from the 1st to the 14th of January. Now I am down to very few sales for this week. These were not Christmas sales.

Has anyone else experienced this change in downloads this week?

I have had contact via Discord with a contributor who has a bot running 24/7, generating, key-wording and uploading thousands of images. He was trying to find ways to open multiple accounts. As an Adobe Community Expert I advised him of the rules around multiple accounts (they are allowed for different file types, but cannot be for the sake of bypassing upload limits). He then offered to give me 1000 images which I declined!

It's not just the multiple accounts. Even one account is fraudulent.

Thanks

I find that, whatever I use, it will start at, say 32% and I have to zoom in.

What is your "go to" software for this and is there anything that can default at 100% to view?

Thanks

Adobe Stock / Wouldn't it be amazing if Adobestock...........
« on: January 14, 2024, 07:15 »
rejected or accepted images BEFORE you title and keyword them?

For me it would just save me so much time in the day not to have to put all that data down for something that gets rejected anyway!

Don't get me wrong, there might be times where the title and keywords don't fit but generally it would save SO much time but probably doesn't have much impact on the Adobe side. Am I wrong?

65
I there a way to tag the admin on this? I would love to know if it's a possibility.

66
I certainly think it would be beneficial to many

67
If not, it could be useful. That way people who create AI images can discuss with "likeminded" others without getting in the way of those who disapprove.

This group is amazing and has boards for most things but I can't find one for a specific topic like AI generated images that is constantly discussed?

68
Totally get that but don't you think it would be fair for Adobe to say that instead of the usual "standard" reply?

69
I've hit a bit of a snag with my AI-generated content. Lately, about 75% of my stuff is getting the thumbs down, even though I'm using the same tools and upscaler as always. I get that Adobestock is all about top-notch images, and that's 100% the way is SHOULD be. But this sudden drop in acceptance in 2024 feels like a seismic change.  Something's definitely up.

Maybe it's something with DALL-E or Topaz Photo AI, or maybe Adobestock have changed their game. It would be super helpful to get the lowdown on this. Knowing what's going on would let me tweak my process and set my expectations right for what Adobestock is looking for now.

70
Don't understand your comment I'm afraid.

71
Sorry, but all this is the case for more than 18 years with real photos. Produce good images, and this will not happen. I never complained myself about rejections for 18 years!
You should try doing something else then instead of AI generating, something where you have got a skill, or maybe spend time and work to get a skill.

Btw, feel free to show the rejected images here. Usually, people don't do it. Guess why...  ::)

Did you read the bottom of the post?

72
One day I can get a lot accepted then the next, very few. I have done nothing different so surely this has to be down to the individual reviewer?

There was a time not that long ago that I decided to delete an accepted image because I wasn't happy with the category I had put it in. When it was reviewed again, it got rejected. How can that be if it was accepted 1st time round? Surely there must be a level of fluctuation in taste or quality control for that to happen on Adobestock?

Just to be clear this is not a dig as I know Adobestock have a thankless task. However it's a legitimate question to evaluate if others find that there is a big variation in a level of acceptance from one day to the next.

(For people who want to have a go at me submitting AI generated images, I do submit regular images too!)

Adobe Stock / Adobestock collections-What is your impression?
« on: January 08, 2024, 06:53 »
Do they make a big difference to sales? How many collections (roughly) would you recommend?

74
Thanks Mat

Just wanted to double check before I went ahead.

Thanks
