I break my head and patient with FT. I dont submit for many agencies, only DT, IS, SS , Alamy for RM and RF, and now im trying GL after read a post in this forum. In FT i was lost my time. Was my first agency when i start discover stock business in last year . They reject 90% or more but i think that the problem was mine and try to make better. 6 months past and only have one view in my port with only 12 images...nothing more....Submission system is one of the worst in industry for me. Then Dt and for last SS . So, i pick my best files from DT, IS and SS and submit 80 files to FT , in another try, and deal again with the horrible 5 files system, got 3 approved. I give up, dont worth my time. I dont believe in spread ports in the net, being new in stock and have small ports, so... i will not loose my files but theuy will. I sell them in others agencies , better agencies to.

Veer sells decently. Not top tier, but they are edging toward mid tier for me. With a bit over 4k images I am getting a payout monthly from them.
By contrast, I have been on Pocketstock a couple of months without a single sale.
7k port without sales from you !!!!!! Ooh!

Hi all. Recently i have one external hard drive lost. I am very careful with my files and i have all storage in another disk but i lost some of my daughter movies that im able to restore , so is not a big deal.
I am looking for a web storage service (affordable) where i can put all my files and port, about 2TB, and i beat the wall against prices about $200 month for 1TB , for me is very, very expensive, but i think that one storage place in web where i never lost anything is very useful and highly demand to my work.
I found a place where i can set my own service and company of web storage, but is expensive just for me to use, so...two questions?
- Do you known about some really good place and affordable to keep our files safe?
- If i can get a service that provide this at an affordable price (ex. Like $120/year for 1 TB) would you consider to store files there? Just to do a little marketing inspection !!

DOF not reach all the fruit, center exposition is not the best choose for this, poor light and It is very blue too .... it was taken in morning or /and in the shadow so give you a real cold WB that is visible. In same conditions set your camera to manual WB, put around 7000K and see the difference .

Your port is very good and salable and you will have success but i most advice you about rejections. In SS or Istock you can view your rejections get high , you can get about 30% your port rejected ... or not.....but be prepared to.....
Another thing to note about rejections - DT is the only site that rejection rate plays a part in search placement. Rejections are never fun, of course, but you don't have to worry that they will affect your search positions at other sites  .
Yes it is, is the most accurate review for me and the most consistent. And because of that i made this warning, SS for example is very ... how can i say that ..... you most be lucky with the reviewer you catch....and even more lucky when uploading big ports .
my first 60 files to SS get all 100% rejected.....i have to submit the same files in batch of 4/5 files to get them approved.....is a lottery
in Istock i agree with 95% rejections because they have very useful explanations and tell what you must do to take that file accepted .... and is exactly like that. What changes compared to DT ? Quality is taken to one level high .... compared to SS the review is always accurate and very professional , difficult to, but just. SS is very difficult and to help us more is very irregular to. You must (Brett) to get SS to give good earnings after leave DT exclusivity , so , i am advice you to be patient because could not be so easy to someone that come from DT or Istock with good and consistent reviews .

Hi Brett. Remeber when i put the question on DT forum to become exclusive there ? So, i still dont know if i not earn more being a exclusive with 128 files online there.
One thing i know and can tell you. You have an amazing port and certainly you will sell your files in major agencies. With only 7 files in SS when i got approve i sell 3 files in four days. In start you will loose money because you will get less from DT and have to upload your port to others but i think you will more 2 or 3 months after.
Another thing. You have much more experience in stock than i do but i work always to 4/5 agencies before i submit to DT . Men, if you will do some crazy thing make it well. That image could result if you dressed some leather suit..... but in jeans and christmas hat looks like some crazy , drunk guy . This image dont give you prestige , it can sell 10 000 times that will not bring you nothing good.

I can put my head thinking all day about refunds policy in stock and i cannot see the answer ..... HOW CAN SOMEONE REFUND OR RETURN AN IMAGE  -My point is : If the image have problems or issues that restrict the use is logic to be refund, but in that case is logic that must be deleted from database.....is an invalid image ! - Another point is : If the image stays in buyer hands for 1 hour, is enough to make one copy and return the image to agency....i guess maybe 2% of refund images will not be use by buyer or their employes ..... off course they use it , and in Istock case they can legally use it for months and ask for a refund after ..... Is a shame..... If an image have an issue that justify a refund to one buyer must to justify the refund to all and be deleted. More, is not only contributor blame...agency and their reviewers have guilty to, so 50% half refund for both is logic and the thought is always in the air......they really dont use it ??! In RM license is even more ridiculous .... the buyer choose a license for 30 days and ask for a refund 40 days after.... And after contributor refund the commission , the agency refund the money to buyer to OR simple made a chance for another file And why contributor dont make a change for another file to we are always the losers ! Is the black side of the game.....

Ohh....i am sorry to come here a few times but time is not elastic . I participate in others topics to , not much in fact but im not a spanner .... I start microstock in ends of October 2012 , i have not much experience to share but will do my best.

I feel like iStock set the bar in the industry in terms of how bad we can be treated without leaving the agency.

clap clap clap (this are aplauses) im new in stock. I start my way in a more serious way 6 weeks ago and i have now 110 files on DT. In IS i start about 6 months and i have 16 files online. Upload limit is low , the review process is long , and they put problems in everything. Now they refuse my 18 new bach because my custom model release errors but is accept in all other agencies i submit....this put my racio in less that 20%. I made 5 sales IS until now. 5 months with any sale and from 10 weeks until now made 5 sales. They pay me $1.20 total for 5 sales, this is ridiculous. $0,28 in 4 subs but the most impressive is my last sale that give me $0,08 profit. If IS ask me the file for free i offer that for charity , i think....ridiculous .... At DT in 6 weeks i have more than 110 files online, 4 sales. More than $7 profit . If i was exclusive i have received more than $12 for these and $0,20 per image upload. I cannot say they are a bad agency. I see everyone saying bad of DT and good of IS , for me IS is stolen my files and im let this happen. They pay 15% per sale and put so many problems in reviews that im tired that agency for so little profit. Anyone exclusive at IS is well taken but the others not. They can sell my images like they think better, for me, they even can give my images for free, BUT i refuse $0,08 profit to me, they must have to pay . I am not a charity agency. They make the promotons they think correct but to me they have to pay something. The we go to the forum and put our fellings and problems. A moderator quickly response to question , change the topic place and close it....F*** to IS. Otherwise DT makes the price up or down like they think better but we always receive the same amount in final commission. I dont think IS is better or more serious agency. I will delete all of my misery 16 files from there, and ofter the $1.20 for free to them charity if they pay 0,08 one more time, because i believe that buyers look in all agencies for files and if i have one file in one agency that is cheaper they buy there. The main difference is what i receive for my work. Promotions , low prices, and other sh*** just to treat us like kids is what IS is doing. DT is what it is , but they invest in their contributors (EXClusive) , they pay the uploads (so they have to sell it, right?) and they sell with profit ($3,18 profit my last non-exclusive sale) .For me, Dt is more files online, more quick uploads, same or more sales, and more profit in my 110 files port compared to IS. Better contributor support too. SS, i think is great, i pass the admission 15 days ago and have 7 files online with one sale. But they are with serious problems in review process. Some people talk about payments problem too.
