What would me more telling if we also knew the size of the portfolio of each responder.

Interesting tidbit.
This morning at 7am I got an email form SS informing me I had moved up a level. I went check my totals and I was curious to see I was still 5 DL's short of their target number. I wasn't until just now some 3 hours and 40 minutes later that my Earnings page registered the missing sales. 53

Just discovered that if you click on your Avatar there is another form for feedback (other than the "We Want To Hear From You" - Google Survey at the Botton). You can fill out this form anonymously and repeatedly.
I also suggest that we shouldn't click on the Shot List etc at the top of the page - if they don't get any interaction with these links maybe they will get it that we don't want it there. 56

Adobe Stock / Re: AS Editorial Rejections of current« on: September 13, 2022, 19:47 »
These are their guidelines for illustrative editorial.
What is illustrative editorial content? At Adobe Stock, we define illustrative editorial as conceptual imagery designed to illustrate articles on current events and newsworthy topics. This type of content often features images of real brands and products like signs on buildings, soda cans, computers, and cars to convey a story. Illustrative editorial content is made available to Adobe Stock customers for editorial use only. Illustrative editorial isnt the same as editorial content, which documents events or incidents that are currently occurring or developing, or that have already occurred. We do not accept traditional editorial content at this time. For illustrative editorial, we dont accept: Images that feature recognizable people Images of restricted events such as conventions and sports games Images that feature tight crops of copyrighted or trademarked material, such as stamps, fine art, or other content that may violate privacy rights Digitally created or manipulated versions of trademarked logos or other brand content other than social media icons (But I also agree that their acceptance / rejection criteria is wonky to say the least, it just depends on your reviewer that day. 59

Shutterstock.com / Re: Shutterstock's Bridge to Bigstock« on: June 01, 2022, 09:05 »Thank you for letting us know. The response I got from BS in May was that their technical team were working to resolve it (though I imagine that is just a cut and paste response to any fault being reported). Going forward, the low number of sales I get at BS wouldn't currently warrant the effort of uploading directly to them. That said, I did look at the upload page (just to remind myself what it looked like after 11 years!) and there is still a message saying my account is linked to Shutterstock and not to upload the same images to avoid duplicates. They're maybe too busy with their new acquisitions to get round to removing it. I pointed that out to them multiple times yet it still remains. As they are still paying .38 for subs I'd rather get sub sales at BS than SS. (wonder if they realize that and/or if that will change - if it does change then I will quit uploading to them) 66

Update:
Got this from BS today: Thank you for your patience while we reviewed your case. We have received news from our Higher Office, and according to them, the Bridge Program for existing contributors was discontinued in April 2022. In this case, if you wish to have your content on Bigstock, we suggest you upload the content manually. 67

On March 18th I had 2 sales for .16 each.
I reached out to DT whose reply was that it was my percentage of the sales price, and referred me to the earnings page. Which still in my opinion doesnt explain the lower royalties. 70
123RF / Re: Is this the oldest refund ever« on: April 17, 2022, 18:13 »Im over this - just deleted all my images (10k+) and told them to close my account. They have become less and less relevant - Not even making payout last month for the first time in over 10 years. Yes I did edit: The Explanation they sent me: Thank you for contacting us. The deduction you see in your earning balance indicates that the download was refunded. Refunds may occur due to a number of reasons, such as the content not meeting client's requirements, fraudulent downloads, or credit card chargebacks. In cases such as credit card chargebacks, it may take a few weeks to months before the refund is reflected in your account, due to the processing times involved of the banks of both parties, in addition to the manual verification that needs to be done by our finance personnel. Thank you for your kind understanding and patience in this matter. Hope this clarifies, please contact us again if you require any further clarification. 71
