I just downloaded and installed the new deepmeta v3 and was hoping for a quick start but no way. First I could not log in with my old loginname and password. After some reading here I first clicked the "forgotten password". Nothing happened, no email. Then I clicked the "forgotten username". Instantly I got an email with a new username. Ok, but what is bothering me now is I can't see my portfolio. If I read it well there are still some problems with the synch function in deepmeta. Right? But when I go to my istockphoto.com page I also don't see my portfolio. And where can I check my stats? In the old deepmeta I could still see my earnings in the bottom line. Where are they now? update: I tried to upload some files, but got error 401. Also I tried to log in on the getty site, but it said my account is not set to ESP-access it's get more complicated

in your account settings you can also change the minimum payout. Some time ago they changed it from $75 to $35

Since I have a smartphone which makes pretty good pics, I am now searching for a stocksite who accepts these kind of images and also sells them. I already subscribed at the most popular agencies, but I don't won't to 'pollute' my port there with images of a lesser quality.
I heard about snapwire, but also read about their time consuming upload process.

Always expose on the lights and in post lighten up the dark parts.
Wrong advice. Always expose to the right (ETTR) and reduce the exposure in post, to avoid having to lighten up the shadows and get your photo rejected for noise.
Otherwise, following the SS standard (as I understand it), the photo is rather soft and borderline from the noise point of view. You might need a sharper lens and/or a better tripod.
isn't that sort of the same? concentrate on the lighter parts, without loosing the details? Just like we did in the old days with slide film. Also easier to understand for the poster than ETTR (I had to check wikipedia for it).

nice pic but it really is overexposed and not sharp enough.
Always expose on the lights and in post lighten up the dark parts. Maybe you should have made a HDR image
