do u know what is the reason of the thin white line? it is like some pixel calculations issue.. I avoid it by copying/pasting the vector artwork into a blank photoshop doc, and scaling it just a few pixels beyond the document edge. Bit if a hassle to do, but t always results in a clean JPG.

hi cthoman, it is jpg and i think video files only. The owner is always answering your questions through email. photodeck do has ftp, and the images with right 'title' keywords are picking up by google images..
It is a stable site, and if you have direct customers then it is perfect, since no commission charge for any sale, you can just ask your customer to browse your site..
the coupon code 50% discount of first month.. YG@UNMKGW
or just simply try for free for 7 days?, but you will lose the discount..
Do they allow vectors or is it just jpegs?

it is similar to photoshelter in some ways, but there is no commission charge for sales and i like the clean and cool interface.
here is a code, if you use it u got 50% discount. It got RM price algorithm and you can simply choose RF license template.

Do they offer FTP out? Beside potential sales, at least it's useful to upload entire port in no time to new sites. Photoshelter has it, although excess bandwidth is a bit expensive.

I think there is no arguement canstock are selling, just look at the recently purchased items on the first page, there are familiar contributors name are on the pages all the time, and usually are with few purchase. i feel vectors sell much better than average non studio shots in canstock, check the recently purchased so u know there a lot of sales. so..here is my referral link.. http://www.canstockphoto.com/mtkang?r=52473

I do mix of illustrations and some photos..most photos aren't done in studio. 123rf had a obvious increasing of sales recent months, I focused on dreamstime and fotolia, trying to make the earnings improved every month, but 123rf ends up the one who make the earnings improved every months, something which dreamstime and fotolia is not working for me. they pay fair and the uploading is faster than dreamstime and fotolia..ftp with IPTC data..and all you need is one click to send them for review. Here is my referral link: http://www.123rf.com/#mtkang

hi, i have this problem before when i ftp using filezilla, then i realise i have to ftp to the folder 'bulk import' of photodune..and the iptc will appear okay. I don't understand why photodune doesn't make it the default directory. I have been uploading to Photodune. I would agree with what others have said that having to retype the title is a pain, but I am getting through it. I have been pleased to have two sales right away (only for 25c each, but it is a start), so I feel optimistic for the future with them. Has anyone managed to link Lightburner to Photodune to automate the uploading process?
Cheers

the faq had updated, but somehow one can still find the old faq contents by google..i copy and paste here: How many warnings do I get? In most cases, you can recieve up to 5 warnings before you are penalized. After the 5th warning (or when so notified by Shutterstock), your account is reset to review/probation. This means that you will have to upload 10 new images, and that 7 of them have to be acceptable. If 7 of the 10 are not acceptable, you will have to wait 30 days before you can upload another batch of 10 for review. @ kawing921
I don't know, they MAY be sympathetic to the fact that you are young and sound very sincere. If they do allow you to resubmit and, as you say, you only re-submit images where you've carried out edits, it is very important to put a note in for the reviewer explaining that it is a resubmission and that you have improved the image in line with the rejection comments.
@mtkang
Five warnings? I never heard or saw that myself.

ya, that's what i do now. But it seems there is a faster way that disorderly had mentioned. They have semi-batch processing, you can apply various settings from your previously submitted images. Only works well if you group your shots together using sequential file names. Their current keyword tool is broken BTW - it's counting all my phrases that are in parenthesis wrong (its counting all the individual words instead of the phrase - crazy annoying it's halted all of my submissions).

oic, i didn't realise it can do it this way, thanks! I upload via FTP. Then when I go to the Unfinished Files page, I select all the images that will have the same categories and click on Edit Selected. Whatever categories I choose will be applied to all the selected images. Can't imagine anything faster or easier than that, other than not having categories at all.

actually i think the faq before saying something like if you receive up to 5 warnings, and your account will be put in a status you may need to re-submit images to apply as a contributors again. That's what i read and understand when i received my warnings.
I never realize it can end up like this way, all the earnings are not sure, and I can't log in my bigstock account too, i didn't ask put to a status to re-submit as a contributors again.

seriously, i hope guys in shutterstock are reading this. Not everyone is badass that want to resubmit to ruin up your site. There is a lot of way to control quality of images..like alamy or limit uploads based on rejections rate.
it cause a lot of miserable things in my life, when i am not sure if suspension means termination of account forever or 1 month, 2 month, 3 months? and i am not sure is that means i lost all the remaining earnings in shutterstock and even bigstock? i am not sure whether i can reapply as contributors, and start to earn from $0.25.. even i had reached $0.36
I have moved on with other things, but I always feel like i had done something so evil and shameful that my money is deserved to be gone and suspended, and when i asked what should i do, i get mocked by other contributors, and i should not tell more about it and i may really get warned.
there is a lot of way to control quality of image banks, but in this way, it actually make someone life difficult.
It is still a good agency that i want to contribute, i hope they will update us people who get suspended with details. I will still tell people to contribute it, since i know it is the site that really sells, if there is a strict policy that want to stop people submitting bad images, i would like them to put in faq tell us how many warnings we will get, how long the suspension, blah blah and really warns us that the earnings will be confiscated if we violate their rules.
in the mean time, i hope i will still get back my account, and start to submit to shutterstock again.

hi all,
I found it really taking a lot of times to choose categories in dp, is there a batch processing?

i try to ftp to folder bulk import/photos, but i realize the system doesn't take up the 'name' and 'descriptions' as the 'title' and 'descriptions' in IPTC data. anyone has similar issue?

hi all,
when you are selling your RF images on your site, do u offer a extended license price?
I know different website had different definitions of extended license, but basically it is a license you can use it to make into and product and resell it, that's why one has to pay more for this license.
how do you do with extended license when you are selling on your own site? thanks.

I just found out that after you connect to ftp, you should browse to 'bulk import'->'photos'..i think in this case, one doesn't has to move every singles file manually.. I have to agree that the upload process is clunky at best. Why do we have to manually enter the name again? Why do we have to wait and come back later to submit? I also suggest you visit your top tier competition and learn how to do it in a more professional and efficient manner.

photodune please ask your colleague from...maybe the secretary or someone who is not a software developer and do a trial uploading in front of the interface designer, then you will realize what is wrong, i am sure he or she will ask then what is next, what should i do later..where it has gone..blah blah.. everything is there, but is not user friendly...
i like canstock, you don't need to click many pages and go around different pages... everything in one page..you see every keywords, title..and just one click u submit everything.
first, there is a 'name' column need to be filled for every files, IPTC title is not picked up by this 'name', and there is no thumbnail preview but just filename. second, it is quite meaningless 'create item submission' and it brings me to next screen and the images is not there..it seems to take time to get processed from ftp..why not make it a one button click to process everything? do i need to repeat something that is repeated?
