Been like that for a couple days... Took several attempts last night to get 8 images uploaded.
But I just tried to upload one image and it went through just fine.

the $2.00 sales are the under the 'Subscription all at Once' plan... "These plans are now available at $39 and $69, giving access to five or ten files. The files can be downloaded anytime throughout the next 30 days. The royalties awarded are $2.00 for non-exclusive contributors and $2.20 for exclusives. These values are computed based on our historical average for downloads generated by both credits and subscriptions." http://www.dreamstime.com/thread_35047

Of my last 200 sales I've had 11 of the $2.00 sub sales - and I am not opted into any of the Alliances or partnership deals.
I'm not interested in this new deal with Google and won't be opting any of my files into the alliances -- it's all or nothing. You either opt into all of their alliances or out of all of them.
Nothing said so far makes me want to opt into all of their side deals.
Edit: why is everbody's DT meter on the left at zero today?

To begin with your keywords and descriptions are terrible. Your descriptions aren't descriptive enough and I looks like you average 7 keywords (the few shots I looked at), not enough.

It never ceases to amaze me just how many people sign up without reading or understanding the terms and conditions of a legally binding agreement between themselves and the agency. You have to tick a box that says you read and agree to them before you ever submit. And then they come to the forum asking for clarification after the get their first .25 royalty, and are stunned. Unbelievable.

Saw the complete film earlier this year. Interesting woman - great photographer. A must see if it comes to your area. Can't wait till more images are online.

Why not payout on the 7th instead of the 25th? Or even the 15th, no they want to hang on to our money as long as possible.
I didn't get the email either. Way to go.
Because IS is incompetent and unable to process sales for 30 days or more sometimes. They have to delay payments up to 45 days, and hold on to our money as long as possible. Nothing like SS that reports sales the same day and pays first week of the following month.
Money on their account for a longer period mean more bank interests in Getty's pocket! One way more to earn extra money, and how to show themselves as a "solvent" company with lot of cash due to their rating on stock market... So conclusion is that Getty doesn't see us as their Partners in any way
We aren't and never have been 'partners'. They are a business! You are a business! It's their job to make money for themselves. It's your job to make money for your business. How you do that is solely up to you. Expecting iStock or any MS Site to help you is naive. But totally agree with your first sentence. "Money on their account for a longer period mean more bank interests in Getty's pocket!"There are also other costs involved with paying on demand as opposed to the new method. This will save them millions in the long run.

How and when will I be paid?
Payments will be processed on the 25th of the following month and paid using the payment details you have entered in your account. If the 25th falls on a weekend or U.S. holiday, the payment will be made on the first business day prior to that.
This has to be a huge financial windfall for iStock - holding our money all month and then not paying out for an additional 25 days.
Thanks for nothing.

I'm not a native speaker but I think 'based out of USA' means 'located in the USA but doing business worldwide' for a non-native speaker this could be easily misunderstood as 'not located in the USA'. I think this is the way fairplay understood it.
Yes, Fairplay has probably misunderstood 'out of' as meaning 'outwith'.
And there's a word no American English speaker would ever use.

How do you have time for all these lawsuits? You've threatened almost every agency with legal action haven't you?
The only time he posts is when he's teed off about something. I don't understand why he is even still involved with MS, it seems to cause him more grief than the average individual. Another one to ignore.

I had a few photos there to see what would happen. One $5 sale and paid via Paypal. Now that is $5 Australian, less Paypal fees, so I think I go something like US$3.40 in the end.
+1 And reviews take forever (if ever) - I finally got tired of waiting and deleted all my images.

You have 399 images on DT since Nov 2010 and only 112 sales. That averages out to about 2.5 DL's per month over that period. Why would you expect more than one a month on any site lower than DT in the ratings poll? 123rf boasts 32 million images on their home page - you just don't have enough images with commercial value.
Also your most popular image on SS has a typo in the description field.

I just 2 notifications from them. One for a Sub sale with the correct amount. One for a Credit sale - where the email says 'Your Profit $4.00" - when it should have been $1.84 (which is what the site stats say)
Edit: these are the first notifications in a few days, I got some on the 29th & 30th of Sept and all that were for credit sales had the sale price not the commission. They obviously have some sort of problem with the system since they changed format of the emails.

I also think you need to clarify the parameters for calculating RPI - My guess is you are going to get people using different methods (and some actually reporting RPD).
