Your photography looks more like snapshots rather than stock photos. Go back and check out your favorite photographers. Try to copy how they approach stock photography. That's how you will improve.
don't agree, I do like a lot some of your pictures, they might not be pure stock but they aren't snapshoots for sure, you know how to compose and making the picture interesting, I would say browse pictures in agencies and see what sells more, if you don't wanna shoot the regular stuff keep doing what you are doing, you will understand what will sell more or less in the future, best of luck

I have had 11 sales there, but it says in the email above that I must fulfil all of the criteria to get the higher rate. I am nowhere near the 150 accepted mark and at a 60% attrition rate it would need me to upload more than a hundred images in the next week to get in. Which just isn't going to happen.
you have over 650 at IS, why not uploading them?

I must be missing something here. October was my best month by far at 123 with $26 in revenue coming my way. Last month it was $19.
Mat
Mat I would say keep up there and continue to upload, you have only 700 files there, pile them up there once you just need to upload and its done, no categories or other as you know and MRs work quite nicely there, give them a little time too, after some sales they will go up, you need to fav them too at their website (5% of your portfolio) for me they are now my 3th best earner in terms of totals, last month stats SS 847 sales (415$) IS 44 sales (40$) went down used to be around 80$, after PP it will go to around 100$ 123RF 138 sales (95$) FT 129 sales (77$) DT 63 sales (60$) of course we all have different earnings, portfolio, etc etc some do better here other there, per example for me BigStock is just depressing like 10$ per month

Can't really complain, I've just had my BME at 123rf - in fact I've more than doubled my previous BME - yay If that is the case, you must really have a small portfolio on 123RF to get such an increase (statistical artifact). The point has been mentioned in another thread by Rinder. Don't mention portoflio's under 1-2K. I get tantrums reading people on the DT forum yelling BME when they had 50 sales. Only the real big guns here can tell what's happening.
I love the way you talk but just for the record I have tracked your sales at DT and you havent had 50 sales in a month, so why all the BS talk? 3700 November 8th 3744 Today

I see it is not much work, but it takes some time as we have to capitalize the old pictures one by one in the dashboard, hope it is worth it
I haven't done that once mine were ready already but I can tell you they are worth, you will see

Luis you do not capitalize the title? it is one of the requirement to upload
yes I do, I have it on IPTC, my only prob was with MRs but a few weeks ago I managed to learn it lol

regarding MR I have talked about that minutes ago..
non required MR it is a lot faster, just ftp them and process button on dashboard
then select 20 pics at each time and submit, pictures that don't have some iptc you will need to enter it, the max keywords is 50 and no numbers allowed
Thanks. I don't shoot people so I have no MRs. 50 keywords might be a problem. Does the site issue a clear warning when you have more than 50 and give you a chance to edit the list?
after the process button you have two sections, files ready to submit and other with files that need modifications

uploading with FTP - max upload is around 200 pictures or 1GB (at once, it needs to be imported and then you can upload more)
submitting on contributor portal - 100 pics at once (select them all and copy main keywords) - one by one or batches of identical title/description/keywords (once it will overwritten data), one click inside each file/batch Send image to the reviewers - end of the submission you need to click on 30% - Image is also offered in cheaper stock agencies
these are the currents needs to send a picture to approval, these could have been done a lot faster if they were somehow automatic if there was a default option or a saved one perhaps done by contributors

hi there, I agree the mr system is quite bad.. but if you havent figured it out I would love to explain you how to, take a look below
using ftp 1. upload releases into model release folder, I am uploading only the MR's regarding the specific photoshoot (one session at the time, not that I have many people pics) 2. then on the previous folder upload the pictures regarding that photoshoot 3. process button in dashboard after upload
if the process went "wrong" for any reason the pictures will be rejected for no mr
if you follow this you won't have an issue, the ones you have rejected because of no mr just don't care, upload them again
