Envato / Re: Photodune, Thoughts?« on: November 12, 2011, 19:26 »Non exclusives get 25%. I don't understand why so many people are interested to submit. A new site which starts at this level? I believe my pictures aint doing much of difference actually, all top contributors are there, shall we leave them collect everything? what can we do? leave IS, DT, FT? 5079
Envato / Re: Photodune, Thoughts?« on: November 12, 2011, 06:45 »Non exclusives get 25%. I don't understand why so many people are interested to submit. A new site which starts at this level? sales! that the final answer, despite the low 25% 5080
Envato / Re: Photodune, Thoughts?« on: November 12, 2011, 05:36 »Another thing i don't understand is, how i can attach the correct model releases after uploading with ftp??? I dont find it confusing, at 123RF you just upload your pictures, then on the website the releases and attach to them, if you do it after the FTP processing those will be the only pics there which will be easier 5081
Envato / Re: Photodune, Thoughts?« on: November 12, 2011, 05:33 »Another thing i don't understand is, how i can attach the correct model releases after uploading with ftp??? it doesnt matter, I guess if they see more people than releases that would be a reject, regarding the title dont know, better to have it already (IPTC) 5082
Envato / Re: Photodune, Thoughts?« on: November 11, 2011, 19:30 »Another thing i don't understand is, how i can attach the correct model releases after uploading with ftp??? place the release(s) on the moldel_release folder, then place the pictures on the previous folder, they will go automatically to those files (after you click on process) 5083

Envato / Re: Photodune's 25% commission for independent photographers???« on: November 08, 2011, 07:14 »...BUT yes I dont think 25% is enough, we all know where we are heading, so at least start high and then screw us true for sure but like sharpshot said here if top contributors support them, what else can we do? let them collect all? they are the only one that can do something regarding better royalties, we all have in our minds the latest Veer deal where they have looked at our concerns and once in a lifetime an agency respected our wishes.. the ranking would be a very cool thing and for sure will bring the ones that arent already there 5094
Envato / Re: Photodune's 25% commission for independent photographers???« on: November 08, 2011, 06:58 »
5k pictures? must be in terms of sales not amount of files, it doesnt make sense 5095
Envato / Re: Photodune's 25% commission for independent photographers???« on: November 08, 2011, 06:23 »...If nobody had uploaded to them after they came up with their stock photo site, we would now see higher commissions....Unfortunately, that didn't happen. Lots of top contributors were with them from the start. Some of them complain about lowering commissions on other sites but uploaded everything for 25%. I've given up arguing about commissions. It looks like its too late, I dread to think how low a commission lots of the top contributors will accept. It looks like microstock will be unsustainable for me, so I might as well upload everywhere and make as much as I can while I'm working on other ways to make money. I agree! I am already contributing there BUT yes I dont think 25% is enough, we all know where we are heading, so at least start high and then screw us ![]() at least make some ranks like you have for exclusives, we cannot take 25% forever.. 5096
