I agree, considering the amount of research work it takes $5-$15 is peanuts..... How about publishing articles already written with the consent of the author, could be a win-win situation?

Hello all, I thought I might as well open a thread for August earnings:) To my surprise August was a BME with few changes in my big 6 ranking: SS ahead of IS by few $, and the3Dstudio a new player take the number 4 spot kicking out StockXpert and FT.... More stats to read on my blog: http://microstockexperiment.blogspot.com/L How was your August?

I confirm that: I work at f:2.8 with the G9 to do infrared pictures and the depth of field is already important!

Funny I was doing some night shots with the G9 tonite and was wondering about the G11:) Interesting that they came down to 10 MP, but I wonder why they did not keep the 12.3 MP of the G9? Should be a fine camera though. Pretty happy with the G9 I passed some pictures to Istock after downsized them to 5MP

I post my stats on-line since June 2007 at http://microstockexperiment.blogspot.com/I did not really experienced a summer slowdown but I upload regularly so it might explain. Also small portfolios are more susceptible to variation IS took over SS three months ago as number 1 , looks like I reached a plateau at SS a long time ago

Twitter is quite powerful in getting information, promote blogs and products, do some networking, the downside is that you have to spend a lot of time on it....

HI there,
I am looking for an affordable HD camcorder and came across the Sony CX100 (Sony HDR CX105 in Europe) for less then 500 euros. Any of you having some suggestions about this one, I know it has a 8Go flash built-in drive
Thanks! L

Salut le Toulousain:)
Your pictures look good for microstock, I suggest you keep shooting different styles and see what kind of pictures work the best then focus on them. Also as it is a number game, one option is to shoot pictures you enjoy and that sell reasonably well.. some describe this a niche L
