Is it just for photos, or do they already pay for videos?

Is this what they pay for training artificial intelligence?

SS subscription is not correct. The subscription should cost $16-25 per month and the buyer should receive unlimited video downloads. In this case, the author's income increases.

Are you serious or joking?  If you are serious, how will that increase contributors' income?

Did you read his previous responses ( about unlimited subscription plans/sites) to other posts? If you did, I don't know why you wasting your time to responding him ;D

Accordingly, I will not waste time on answers and explanations.

LOG is a profile, not a codec.
+100  ;D

What codec do you shoot LOG with, using the iPhone's stock app?
Many people get confused because the free Blackmagic app lets you save LOG in different codecs.
For LOG it is better when the video has 10 bits. Write to the codec that supports 10 bits. But I dont think youll lose much if you write to LOG in 8 bits on an iPhone. I haven't experimented with 8 and 10 bits on iPhone in LOG. I dont shoot in LOG with my iPhone at all. For this kind of shooting I have more professional cameras.
Of course, its best to shoot directly in prores if you can see the difference on an iPhone and you have a lot of disk space.

LOG though, is supposed to be better than non-LOG, because (reports say - I don't know a way to test, other than my own eyes) LOG is closer to what the sensor gives and does not have the sharpening in video that the non-LOG has.
Many think that a sharpened video looks "better" and that a video with the sharpness set to zero or a negative one looks blurred.
LOG is intended for processing, as a result of which any sharpness is set.

Do you upload all your videos in ProRes HQ, waiting for such a big sale, or do you just send them in H.264 100 Mbps, to save time and space?
Each one will weigh this differently, depending on his knowledge and past sales.
ProRes HQ takes up a lot of space. I know a lot of stockers who dont upload to ProRes HQ at all, but still have a good income. If you think ProRes HQ is giving you a lot of money, then you should only upload to ProRes HQ.

The ProRes video is HEVC 10-bit 4:2:2 at about 750 Mbps.
That's how the codec is locked anyway.

I would really like to know if the iPhone trully shoots 4:2:2 and not 4:2:0.
As I said, I know that's the ProRes codec, but I can't find the info anywhere.
1. HEVC is H.265 codec.
2. The main thing is that the video is 10-bit, but 4:2:2 or 4:2:0 doesnt really matter.
3. I think its unnecessary to shoot with an iPhone in prores. It is enough to shoot in LOG.

Here is one example of rejected image:
Was this video rejected? Or a picture?

558
Do you ever use your smartphone to take/sell stockphotos? If so, how is it working out for you?
The main thing is the plot, and it doesnt matter what camera you shoot with.

The price should be formed only on the basis of supply and demand. The price for AI images should be such that the author receives maximum profit from the sales of these images per month. Therefore, only a stock agency can say what the price should be.
It may be that the price for AI images will be 5 or 10 dollars, and the price for a regular photo is 35 cents. But if these prices give the author a large profit per month, then these prices are the most correct.

I edit video of 10 minutes or longer for YouTube.
What does YouTube have to do with it? This forum is about microstocks, and the topic is about 4K video with a duration of 30-60 seconds.

I am saying that you need stronger laptop to edit 4k videos.
I don't need a more powerful PC. I don't do video animation.

Does Pond5 still sell anything? Is anyone happy with the income on this stock?  ;D

32GB ram 1TB SSD.
This is the most common laptop for Windows. Its price is small.
I dont know what youre doing there with the video, but to process 30-60 seconds of regular 4K video, 32 GB of RAM is enough. It depends on what you mean by processing.

564
I mentioned this in another thread, but Ill repeat it.
1. Modern PCs are good at processing both HD and 4K. The authors do not work on old PCs; the equipment must be updated.
2. It is necessary to upload 4K because there may be demand for this format from buyers. And if there is only HD in the portfolio, the authors income will decrease.

565
Pond5 you can sell at 4k prices
This probably only applies to exclusive authors. On Pond5 they buy 4k videos very often at very low prices. There are also subscriptions and discounts for buyers from different countries. Prices are lower for poor countries.

As for 4K processing, the technology is the same as for HD.

I don't know of any stock site where you can sell 4K only at the price of 4K.

Is it worth uploading on Motion Elements at all?
If you agree to sell videos by subscription, it might make sense. But this stock is more focused on animation.

568
I don't take photos, I only take videos.  ;D

569
My camera can take 100 megapixel photos!  ;D ;D ;D

You could spend less time trying to trick the search and take better pictures.

But surely even great images will fail without a mastery of keywording? I think they both need to go hand in hand.
I think that only the author's rating affects the number of views. Adobe promotes top authors, and it doesnt matter what tags these authors write.

573
The video is being reviewed for several days.

(a) It's REALLY important to remember "ai" tools are based off of THEFT of assets. The biggest "problem" "AI" companies have is figuring out how to remove WATERMARKS. I.e., because they STEAL assets.
(b) It's important to push for/request with companies you deal with that you be compensated for the stolen assets. It's very easy to 'backwards compensate' people - it requires some programming - but definitely doable.
(c) Authors should be compensated in perpetuity, because the "ai" tools (goal) is to sell in perpetuity.
Why do you think that artificial intelligence steals things? The developers say that this intelligence is like the human brain. He is taught by the example of some works, but then he creates his own works. You also learned to draw or photograph from the example of other peoples works and copied them at the beginning. Then you started creating your own works. So is artificial intelligence.
