in my opinion the new 7d and 1Ds will be announced in Sept. 2012 at Photokina,  but the new 5D mk 3 i believe will be available earlier.

My exclusivity with DT is ear the end..... i read that on Dreamstime and 123RF you don't need a sign MR for every shooting  session......


 But how about SS, IS Fotolia and Canstockohoto??  you need a sign MR for every shooting session? or like DT and 123RF only one signed for all the photos regardless when they where taken???

PS i will use the general MR from Yuri Arcurs website

SS is the top agency, probably they are not so greedy like other agencies...... they must have an ''insurance policy'' for the future in case one of the top 4 threaten their 1st place.

After a year on microstock industry and as exclusive contributor on DT i  concluded that i have a large enough portfolio to upload on others agencies.

I read the terms and condition regarding exclusivity on DT but i have some future questions:

- All my pictures that were uploaded more than 6 months ago will go as nonexclusive pictures automatically?

- there is any way to upload the pictures ( less than 6 mounts as exclusive on DT) on other agencies???

-If i upload on other agencies  the pictures that have less than 6 months and 0 sales on DT will be refunded or something?

A compact interchangeable lens camera from canon will be a very welcome piece of gear; definitely i will buy one and use mu existing canon lens ... From my point of view a very welcomed ''design'' will be the next 7D in two body types... 1 standard body (like today model) and one with integrated grip (like 1D series).... i think Canon can do this under $2000

Not only does Dreamstime not allow you to sell RM, but they don't even allow you to sell products on POD sites with your own images on them.... despite the buyers of your images being allowed to if they purchase the right licence... that's nuts!

Lirch, you may be interested in this post made by Sparticus where he expresses his disappointment after 6 years of being exclusive and only earning $1.27 in July from 3 subs, after having a BME in June.  If these sort of highs and lows bother you, then I wouldn't go exclusive.

I personally wouldn't go exclusive anywhere.  One month your favourite best performing agent could change their policies and become your least favourite worst performing agent.

First of all a little more civilized behavior will be much appreciated..... regarding the absence is a personal matter.... regarding exclusivity i become exclusive less than a year ago.... regarding the earnings.... what can i say;... yes i earned  $1.27 in July from 101 sales.... .

I am exclusive contributor on Dreamstime, and i am pleased with the results so far..... my wife is nonexclusive she upload to all major agencies..... the results are..... i make more money than her... course my portfolio in twice as big. Maybe  when my portfolio will exceed 3000 files i will consider to contribute to all major agencies....

Now, frequently i earn $4-5 from an simple XL RF file download due to the huge 60% revenue. Almost all my pictures appear in the first 3 pages in  search algorithm.... becoming an exclusive on any agency is a personal choice of each contributor who is in this business.
