What if 2 images have the same keywords, keyword order, and revirewer rating? Which one will go first? I would give a new one a chance in front of old one. This is third, least important criteria. First and most important would be keyword order, and second rating. These days keyword order at FT is not important at all.

Yeah. Totaly inacurate.
The best system was: keyword order (primary criteria) + rating (secondary criteria) + date by newest first (third criteria)
(which was before may 2008).

Hm.... Just a theory. Few days ago FT changed again search engine relevance order. Since then (my) sales dropped dramaticaly. It does not matter any more how many keywords image has. Now I think it favorizes images with more sales (which is totaly redundand with "Sort by downloads" filter). So new images with less sales are pushed back in relevance order. Circulus vicious, I would say.

Yesterday I got email about my payment being aproved: Your request for payment has been approved. The money will be sent according to the method you have chosen. Please allow up to several days for the transfer.
Note that the earnings section of your account on Dreamstime.com will update in the next 24 hours But I didnt receive anything on my MB account. I know it says "Please allow up to several days for the transfer.", but usualy it takes few minutes, now it has been passed one day, and no payment arrived. Anybody else expirienced this?

I didnt calculate precisely, but about 500-600$ (flashes, tripods, radio and optic trigers, difusors, batteries (a lot of them!)).... flashes are some "cheap" Chineese crappy units, but they work OK!  YINYAN is brand name (never heard of it lol)

Yeah I tought of moving the subject about 1 meter more away from background. I will test it some more before I make some real stock photos. Today I was just testing is everything working properly. hehe.

yeah, they are inflatible. they are good if global warming melt down polar caps, and big flood happens, so they can save a life by keeping you float. lol

I bought some portable lightning equipment for my little sutudio for people. I am still waiting the batteries from ebay, and I have my first photo shooting on 16th August with models, until then I will test and calibrate lightning...... I cant wait to get results.....   (4 flashes for background blow out (2 tall, and 2 short ones), 2 with difusers for direct lightning, and one (Canon) bouncing from the celing. All connected with radio or optic triggers.

Did anyone notice a change in sales? My sales went down drastically since 22nd of July when this topic was started. My 7 days rank is lowest in the last 3 or 4 months
i think it is normal for this time of year. august is month of vacation for most people in Europe.

You could apply for exclusivity 
I'm sure the uploads/week thing will relax as the queue comes down, so the extra uploads might help eventually.
with 5% total income from IS, becoming exclusive is the LAST thing I would do right now. If I would be exclusive anywhere, it would be Fotolia. But I wont be exclusive. I love SS too. hhh
