Xenia,
try using another browser just for the verification. I had the same problem once: verification
symbols/numbers were blurred on one browser and were seen much better on the other.

Noise Ninja plug for Photoshop is very easy to use.  Almost no thinking on your part :).

So far better at DT, Istock, FT, and less at 123rf and  BigStock.

Inspectors at Istock are not angels, they are common people with common faults.  Some inspectors at some other site are thugs, though.

Bigstock is declining according to compete.com stats. Which is not a surprise giving the web site design, 10 GB limit to files sizes. Still $3 sales count.

I am on microstock sites since September 22 2007. Of all sites  Istock is most fair as to rejections for me.

yes, my Canon 40D has noise in the very dark shadows of images. Good that you mentioned that...  With NN one can selectively remove noise from part of the images. So far I could not figure
out to make it work.

Cameras / Lenses / Re: My new toy

Congratulations! Now with the new toy shoot you old toy. And the image of the old toy may be selling very well :)

Interesting, leaf. with your 2700 pics you get $100 per month, I get with 240 pics $10 a month. Now we all know what Bigstock is all about ...

mine will be DT.  But I am very new to the microstocksites. 3 month only and I am not yet on Shutterstock.

thank you, sharply_done. i got it that every image from digital camera better be processed for noise removal. NN guys told me that I should run it after LR; that makes sense if one looks at the order of LR controls: noise removal there is the step after all the tonal adjustments.

Featurepics.com / Re: Anyone selling at Featurepics?
« on: December 12, 2007, 07:30 »
I do not think small new sites (except SV, which can afford to run with losses for years) will survive. There is no much place left and big 3-5 ones will squeeze other ones to extinction in 3-4 years.

I wonder if those misers at FT will survive as other sites raise the prices ...
alexa does not show that FT is doing badly. Yet ...

I am not sure what first to use in the work flow: Noise Ninja and then all other adjustments?
There reason I am confused is that Noise Ninja also does sharpening , but usually sharpening is recommended as the last editing step.

123RF / Re: how to turn subscription off ?

yes, stockphoto, you are right! Only with Shutterstock it is ok, with others it is simply cheating us.

« on: December 08, 2007, 19:47 »
SV allows that and I turned  subscriptions off. If 123rf will not let me turn subscriptions off, I will cancel my account with them. Giving full sizes images for .30 is in fact giving them for free.

123RF / how to turn subscription off ?

I can't find a way to turn subscription option off at 123rf.  Please let me know if you done it.

Bigstock too have raised the prices recently and they are not going out of business. IStock is there to stay as amazon.com , like it or not.

I saw the iStock announcement. But how much up the prices are with current ones?
