We won playing worst game ever against Austria , but we never play good against the teams that are objectively weaker than us.
Our next game Croatia - Germany , and that is going to be a surprise for many , me thinks. 606

Uhu , I dont care too much about that , I have few backups.
Few times a came just after 999 999 visitor on a site and I have won few millions on that , so I could pick up that cash if I need it. Some girl from Africa that apparently knows me ,was a princess , her father died , I forgot what happened then , but she only needs 10 000 $ from me so she can pick up few millions that will share with me later. I can easilly buy a diploma , a maybe start building houses , be a doctor , or whatever comes on my mind. The new deodorant that I use apparently attracts women very much , so that all of them want to go in bed with me , so I could start to charge that If i want to. Or I can just ask Miz if I can live with him in the future , he is smart , so he will surely come up with a plan for the two of us . 607

Here is the list , I didn't know some of your Fotolia user names so I used your nicknames here , and some of you may want to change that. Maybe I missed someone, so he wants to add his name , and if someone wants out of the list , just copy the list without his name.
So those of you that will not upload to Fotolia because of their moves , just copy the list , sign at the bottom with your Fotolia user name and number of images that Fotolia represents. You can put a link to this topic on other on other forums too. Here is the current list , a those are the owners of 32 259 images on Fotolia: Lizard - 3904 images cuneytselcuk - 315 files grp_photo - 1861 files sharpshot - 1948 frankmedrano - 497 skvoor 1873 marcopolo 2104 Vonkara - 165 Marinini - 305 jsnover - 1522 Mellimage - 386 djp68 - 259 besietenueve - 507 Joe Gough's - 1529 jwblinn - 210 photoshow - 4448 Marianne - 818 ajn - 832 keeweeboy - 1496 vtupinamba - 3572 nickp37 - 829 dirkr - 364 cphoto - 600 RT - 1389 Karimala - 1246 608

Sharpshot and others , I changed the above Fotolia link and opened a new topic over there, to separate us from the people that are pulling their work out from there.
I would do that in the first place , but I just saw the link someone posted and didn't read the content , automatically assumed that we belong there. My bad , and its all fixed now. 613
Adobe Stock / Re: List of people not uploading to Fotolia anymore« on: June 04, 2008, 10:08 »Ok I understand that. Defeat , what defeat ,(speaking for myself only) if they change something I might start uploading again , if not I will leave those approved images but they will not get the new ones and thats all. No end , no war , no defeat , they messed the search engine , Im getting 3 times less views then before that month , they approve almost all images in the batch I send then next time they reject all , and again and again , dont allow to opt-out subs , dont count sub downloads for the ranking , they went to lowest sub commision for photographers , etc etc etc. 614

Nop , when I added our list I clearly stated that we are the people that just wont upload anymore , and who else feels the same to join our list , theres nothing about pulling images from the people in our list.
Edit: Made another note on Fotolia forum that we are not pulling our images just not uploading new stuff , to make it clear enough once again. 616

I think that this deserves a separate topic so i will just open a new one to make this more visible.
If you find that Fotolia recent changes represent a step backward regarding contributors position in the microstock industry, and you are willing to stop uploading new images to Fotolia until acceptable changes are made , please sign at the bottom of the list bellow , with your Fotolia user name and number of your images that Fotolia represents. Lizard - 3904 images cuneytselcuk - 315 files grp_photo - 1861 files sharpshot - 1948 frankmedrano - 497 skvoor 1873 marcopolo 2104 Vonkara - 165 Marinini - 305 jsnover - 1522 Here is the link to the topic on Fotolia forum , so you can join the list there, but feel free to add your name on this forum as well cause I wouldnt be surprised if they remove that topic at Fotolia. http://www.fotolia.com/forum/viewtopic.php?pid=115945#p115945 617
Adobe Stock / Re: FT subscription don't generate affiliation revenues« on: June 04, 2008, 04:27 »Well Im not sure that starting , at least starting an empty list there would be a smart move cause as I saw tonight they do delete and edit posts they don't like. I think it would be a good idea to start a new topic here , ask Leaf to make it sticky for few days if possible , and when and if if we get some names on that list then open a topic there so others can join. Anyway I think we should add our user name and our number of accepted images on Fotolia , so... I was thinking a description of the list , somthing like that , but English is not ma native language and Im not too good as writer so if anyone wants to change the description bellow feel free to do it..... So here it goes: If you find that Fotolia recent changes represent a step backward regarding contributors position in the microstock industry, and you are willing to stop uploading new images to Fotolia until acceptable changes are made , please sign the list bellow , with your Fotolia user name and number of your images that Fotolia represents. Well I guess we can be happy if we don't own them any money at the and of the month after getting those sales.
So whats next that they could to for people at least for a while stop uploading there ? I think its time for boycott after those moves , and there are already people on their forums who claim they will. I suggest that we act together for the first time and write them a mail with a list of people who will not contribute with their new work under those conditions any more and let my name be first on that list. If anyone is for that just drop a name on the list and if Im a lone rider in this try , well i guess I just wont upload new stuff there as an individual. 619
Cameras / Lenses / Re: New Canon EOS Rebel XSi commercial« on: June 03, 2008, 21:12 »
Well I will allow myself to turn away from the topic a bit but I was always wondering one thing so this reminded me of that, and I just have to ask you a question.
When you rent a DVD movie , does it contain commercials, not movie trailers , but just regular commercials ? Thats just pissing me off , when I have to see longest versions of commercials ever , and quite a few of them , with skipping and FF option locked , and I have paid to watch that movie , not as I'm watching some commercial TV or something ? Obviously its legal here , but maybe the distributors are even breaking the law I wouldn't be surprised .Anyway I was just wondering is that happening in other countries too ? Same thing goes for cinema , the movie is always 10-15 minutes late and you have to watch idiotic dish washing commercial and stuff like that , thats identical as all of the other ones that promote same style product. 620
Adobe Stock / Re: Fotolia subs...« on: June 03, 2008, 18:54 »
Funny , he says average commission for L size or smaller. Why would you do math with average commission numbers , lets use only L size cause thats whats the buyer gonna take , inst he? And that changing the results for quite a bit , me thinks

General Stock Discussion / Re: The worst thing about subscriptions« on: June 03, 2008, 18:27 »
I think that one solution would be if the directors of biggest sites sit together and make a deal to raise the prices all together and direct their competition in some other direction beside dropping the prices insanely . Buyers would be forced to pay more and they would , cause they wouldnt stop buying images that they need for sure.
Small sites a newcomers would be forced to stick their prices somewhere around the big players sites cause no one serious would upload to their site. The biggest problem is this theory would be SS as a huge player who is committed to subscription prices that would not follow that game. Anyway we would earn much more and the sites would do the same for sure , but they just continue to compete who will give their images for less to the buyers that are ready to pay much more , but why would they when the sites are pulling them by the hand to buy images for peanuts , so they just take advantage of that insane aggressive price dropping style of marketing. 622
General Stock Discussion / Re: Begun, the Price War has...« on: June 02, 2008, 16:05 »
And even if prices go that low , there would be people ready to contribute , and claim that those are the games rules and we cant do anything about it , and thats what turns my stomach. Thats worse than giving them for free.
And I was probably misunderstood , but giving my portfolio for free was also figurative thought , what I was trying to say was that if I had only two choices , sell my images for 2 cents (or 100 of images for 1 cent) as someone before stated or give it all for free , then I would throw them away in a moment. I don't know yet where I would pull a line , but in the future if the (give our images for a bit more than free) competition between sites continues , I will surely pull my images from those sites , and let them (as Lisa said) collect dust on my hard drive. An just to add one more thing cdwheatley , people that have invested their time and money in equipment, props, models, locations, willing to give away their material for free..turns your stomach .Well same thing happened to old school stock photographers when micro came , and the difference in price that you and me and most of us here accepted to sell our images and the price they sell their work , is much bigger than the difference in price that we got on our work and if someone starts giving images for free. So I guess you know how did they feel. 623
General Stock Discussion / Re: Begun, the Price War has...« on: June 02, 2008, 13:23 »
That depends on how much they pay as I'm concerned.
If this industry goes in the direction where they continue to compete who will give our work for less , and if their profit will target to get as many images as they can get even if they earn 2 cents on a download and offer us 1 cent some day in future , just because they can , then giving my whole portfolio that is now more than 5000 images for free (but not on their sites) would make sense , just because I can. The only question is what is the price that would draw the line. I know for fact that there are many people thinking the same , so if we have to go down , what a hell , lets go down with style. ![]() 624

I had a bad month already , so when I just checked my earnings I saw few $ missing , the I saw the mail.
Apparently customer returned two of my XXL images cause he needed larger files. Well and if he got them anyway , how can they know that he did erase them from the disk ? Strange 625
