Will be there in day or two!

You can find them in approved photos....

I have bigger problem with approval ratio lately...

One day have 100% of approved photos, then second day they reject 5 of 6... I am mad!

Mine still doesn't show up on IS.  This is getting ridiculous.   >:(

They said by the 30th.  That gives them until tomorrow night, right?  ::)

I don't think so, probably 32nd or 33rd of February... ;)

This is the attack on Shutterstock!!!!
Indeed, I was just about to add the following to my earlier post, but will add it here.
At first, I was happy with the idea that we (!!) would be stealing sales from Shutterstock, but with everything that's happened at iStock since then, I'd rather there were other agencies and not one monopoly that could then screw us even harder.

Maybe they have plan to shut down Istockphoto also one day... True value is in customers, when someone want to buy site, he doing that only because of market part of that site...
So, they try to redirect subs customers to Thinkstock, also Veeta and Agency collection is step to traditional RF and RM and that part of customers they will redirect to Getty in a future..
Probably they don't want to have double crew on more than one site...

Any more suggestions? This is driving me nuts! :)

In January I had +10$ on my account but without any changes in my stats...
Probably some old sales after revision, maybe year ago or more...

Last month I have more sales than zooms!

Veeery unusual, for me of course!!! ;)

Pseudonym          Your Sales   Your Views   Your Zooms   Your CTR (%)
Botastock images (898)    6         1,771              5                    0.28

General Stock Discussion / Re: own website/gallery for a greenhorn
« on: February 18, 2011, 07:12 »
For now I have almost 5000 views ( in two weeks) on my website and not a single sale... Probably classic stock photography is not  "sale niche" for own website...
Website is more tool to promote yourself as a regional photographer or weeding photographer etc.
Also, who will leave his/her credit card number on some private site, with limited number of photos... That is main reason why buyers like stock big stock sites....
Millions stock photos and without fear for their money on account

Maybe sites like Smugmug can make their part of promotion about their safe payment system, but....

Probably you will never get any of prices what you see on the site for any size (not only for Novels), because buyers negotiate for price with Alamy...

So, we are in mercy of these both sides..

Wasn't the power of social networking just being touted as a big influence in the whole Egypt uprising?

And you genuinely believe that the political situation in Egypt is comparable with IS dropping it's rates of commission to some of its contributors? Sheesh.

No!

Homo Sapiens survived while Neanderthals became extinct, just because he had the gift of speech ... The key thing is "the information" at the right time ...

P.S.
Arab world is experiencing some kind of Internet revolution, because the Internet provides lot of information and examples how can be different from everything what surrounds you ...
They are not first in that or last...

672
Brilliant. Divert traffic to smaller sites. And then they'll become one of the big sites. Oh wait a minute. The big sites are cutting commissions...

Then again, we will advertise some new small sites ... Sorry because "Robin Hood" syndrome .... ;D ;D ;D

So I need to suffer these 16% to protect your profits???

Of course you don't have to suffer 16%, just remove your work from istock-simple!

So, where is the problem? We are talking about OUR portfolios and OUR promotion not about IS or FT complete portfolio...
If I remove my photos from iStock, probably I will make all 3 steps in first post... There is no reason to leave these links on my site, blog, etc (only if you want to leave those links for you :P)...
What is wrong if I am making campaign to bring buyers to better sites for me...?

You can doing that for your iStock portfolio...
I don't want and I can't to prohibit that to you,  it is your right and of course, this is market competition...

P.S.

I do not see No# 4 in the first post: "Customers please do not buy from Istock exclusives, because of me!!!"

674
What a f...!? >:( >:( >:(

So I need to suffer these 16% to protect your profits???

We are removing links to our portfolios not yours...

Hi guys!

That was US sale (-30% of tax), usually for bronze level is 11,xx credits for EL sale of 50credits...

But point here is what buyer pays and what we get...
That certainly isn't percentage on my level...
But that is an old story.... :-\
