On topic: Uploads are now working again.

Off topic: How often does Amazon slow down to a crawl or go down? I've never managed to 'catch' them. Or Ebay?

LOL right.. it is quite absurd what can happen in/with a big business.. :)

Punctum Day has come to Dreamstime, and non-Exclusives are not excluded :-)

You probably need to make them yourself or find something antique, anything new and made by someone else will still be protected I would guess.

I really don't think there is need to have release or so.. there are tons of pictures with these kind of objects, cannot believe they are all antique stuff.. I wonder the same also regarding antique wooden letter and such.. maybe they haven't got registered trademarks yet..

Uploading some photo to IS just several weeks ago.The acceptable ratio is about 60% and views are about 8-9 per photo but no download.  :(

At the same time,I found the sales/view in other agency is about 5.It means every 5 customers view on my photo will generate one download. Is my photo not suitable for IS style?
IMHO if IS approved it, it has something for sure, upload a few more :)

I used to get better reviews during the week but now review times have increased and my rejection rate has gone up.  Doesn't seem to make any difference now.

yep used to be like 24h now more than 48h

is there anything in their contract that say they will keep the 52% commissions to the contributors? I am all for companies treating their suppliers fairly and wish them success but the skeptic in me thinks more success (more buyers) in these for profit companies tends to lead to commission reductions for contributors in the long run. just like that song "mo money more problems"

why are you thinking about this at this time?.. Honestly from 52% to 15% there is a big gap no? if they change the commission there nothing we can do just like IS..

honestly I am not getting any sales.. last one was in August.. had 9 sales since March 2010.. I just keep once the submission is very nice, just upload and end of story

that's an interesting study for sure.. in my case I just look at the pictures LOL if it is something I need I don't care about the picture or the ad, I go to the specs straight away

it depends like a lot of persons said in the comments area.. if you are going to buy a tv who cares about the girl on the screen, I guess 99% will see the specifications etc.. but in a lot of different subjects it might get you more focus.. products for women perhaps :P

I used to have pretty regular sales there before the takeover...but now I get one every now and then. Their review process takes longer than any other site...besides Veer..

thats a new one at least for me... less than 24h never had more..

Which one Veer or Bigstock? As for Bigstock, they use to be fast but haven't been for me for awhile.

Probably a difference in portfolio's....yours is much more impressive than mine... ;)

far from impressive...! BigStock always less than one day

July/August/September were very slow months for me there, but now it's normal.  Slow, but steady, 4th place in the micros as usual (after IS/DT/FT and light-years ahead of 123RF). Actually almost equal to DT this month, but it's more DT's problem that BigStock's success.

4th place is something.. too bad BigStock perform this way for me :P... I can say that it is light years from 123RF :P

I went back and checked my sales at Bigstock since the SS buyout. I have had a total of 4 sales there since then. WTH?

Where is this marketing push from SS that The Admins have been claiming was coming since January? I dont see it. I upload the same stuff there that I do with SS. I think it was Warren Price that mentioned it took him 2 years to reach payout. A Payout of $50.

I just need $19 more to make payout then they are on the chopping block for me.. so maybe 1 1/2 years from now I can get my $50? Just disappointing.

Yep!  It took two years to reach the $50 payout.  That was very frustrating since it was increased from $30 after I started.  I guess ALL the sites reserve the right to change the rules anytime they feel like it.   >:(

BUT ... I'm really on a roll now; $17.50 since that June 22 payout.   ::) :o ;D

My total is on 85$, in BigStock since April 09

I see, it was the first month with them that's all I can say! :)

I have heard that from Partner Program there are also that kind of sales, never had one..

Yes! We can have PPD sales on TS, in practice it rarely happens, but yes...

I have one on PP through IS...

good to know once I have almost more sales on PP than the regular IS ones..

Nope not just you I get the page can't be displayed error.  Trying again just have a busy blank screen so either it's going to give me that error again or eventually it'll load.  I'm thinking the first one.

They really need to get this issue under control.  It's happening far too often now.

*edit*

It just came back up for me.  Wonder how long that'll last.

never happen before here with me

I suggest that you either cut off half of her face or show her entire head and push the levels a little bit.

do this and I am sure it will get in
