Back to jslocke's comment, I don't think he was meaning to say anything bad about Yuri, but more that the only thing it added to Yay was just that, an endorsement with no blanket advantage to the general contributors. At least that how I interprete Sean's comment. It wasn't to slight Yuri .
Yes, I don't particularly see it as anything that would draw people to the site. It isn't like you can't get the 20,000 images or whatever anywhere else.

It does need to be smaller or loose the sponsors up there. I almost don't get any threads onto my screen when loading. Yeah, twitter. I think in a year or two we'll look back and say "140 characters? What crackpot thought that all up?". "I'm at the movies" "I'm eating cheese" etc.... Hard to pick out the wheat from the chaff.

Does anyone else have this problem? I am very upset. My model has contacted me once again about her images being used in a derogatory manner. She has been on TV and is a very busy model being on commercials and ads.
She is so not happy. At the same time, it has brought her a couple of jobs doing stock for us. I know that anyone purchasing images of people are not suppose to use them in any way that it will hurt the persons image.
Any comments from anyone??

I think they started doing this recently - I had a couple accepted this way. Maybe they finally realized that rejecting for "wrong" keywords, was just a PITA for the submitter and it would be easier to just remove those keywords and accept the image.
If it's just a few words, they will normally remove them and pass it on.

Consider yourself lucky you got some through with an incomplete MR.
The MR wasn't incomplete. The one I've been using doesn't have a separate place for a witness date. I use Shutterstock's release, which I've scrubbed of any reference to a specific agency. It's been accepted by every other agency for the past year and a half. Only iStock keeps coming up with new objections, first over the lack of my signature on the release and now for a date for the witness signature.
If it doesn't have space for a witness date, then the MR would be incomplete (usually) to an inspector.

Why do all these old hippies need to be anonymous? What is it they fear? I produce 100 per week, every week. As the mico revenue has increased, I have increased output. Plan for the next six months, double that again. Are these 100 planned out and executed shots, or are you just walking around shooting anything that moves, like most of what is on Alamy? I can't imagine you are scheduling locations and models in foreign countries every 3 days.

Ouch! Looks like you need more motivation! Feb and March looked painful.
You're confusing this chart with one that shows sales or income. This tracks ranking, so it reads upside down to how you think it does - the descending lines show that my sales and sales rates are improving faster than everyone else's. At this scale your lines would be horizontal and right across the bottom.
Oh, duh! Good for you then! I was thinking the "top" of the chart was the good place to be.
