I like it as the photo part was way to limiting and not inclusive of all that iStock offers, the Getty Images brand actually worries me because buyers will always equate Getty with $$$. Nothing earth shattering here but a good move

Thanks, Hey nothing ventured nothing gained! I feel this is the right move now and if not I will go back to being exclusive! I was in line to drop an RC level at this rate so I am not willing to take a pay cut on top of lower sales! I will let you know how it all goes :-)

I just dropped my exclusive status for video at iStock. So for me it will be SS, Pond5, iStock, Fotoila, Getty and maybe a few others over time. When iStock is this slow it is good to have content spread out to absorb the slow times

You destroyed the community spirit at iStock. You yanked customers around with prices and raised them to high to fast. You kicked out one of your most helpful artist, remember Sean? You mocked us when we said sales are slipping and you said all is good.You are not up front and honest with how you did cash prices. Now take all the artist you shafted and their collective blogs and the forums they visit like this one and there you have it, business is not booming anymore. It's not your site!! iStock was doing just fine before your so called great changes for the customer! Stop blaming SS and site design for your own demise because you did this to yourself! Now Drop RC's pay a decent % to the artist... oh did you realized a lot of artist were buyers as well or maybe they knew a lot of buyers? SS has content and buyers don't care who owns it! they advertise on podcast and in the mail. They don't call my house offering me credits! they advertise in other countries and are pushing forward with their brand! Now you can figure it out can't you?

No inside information but if you have read all the iStock News letters you can see something is going to happen with search soon. It may be to little to late and I am only guessing. I just need someone to hold my hand while I jump

They are making this choice really easy for me at the moment, giving them a few more days and them bye, bye if things don't improve greatly on the video side!

I will sell mine for 1.5 million.

iStock website looks fine, what they offer customers is good how they treat artist is bad, they have made so many short term gain moves and now it is catching up. I will be thrilled for a turn around but I have to plan as if it won't happen

It is great to hear that Stocksy is growing! Even if I am not there now it gives me something to work towards! I really hope Stocksy blows all the others out of the water because they treat the artist fair. So happy to hear some good news from them!

I have been exclusive with iStock since 2006. I still like iStock and hope they can make it. To me iStock did not understand the market and that a lot of small buyers were artist as well. When KT started yanking us around things started to go south. SS jumped at the chance and now you have the current situation.
