New Sites - General / Re: GreatStockPhoto: New Stock Photo Site - Please Review

Hi George,
I have just seen your site and one thing I really like is that you accept smaller images. I have tons of very good 640x480 pix images that can't be accepted anywhere, though they are perfectly suitable for websites and even small images in printed material such as flyers. However, by selling 0.06pix and 6Mpix at the same price, you won't attract people who work at the high res range.
I also see that you're using Ktools software (correct me if I'm wrong), which has a horrible search tool, quite useless - and a search tool is a very important feature in a stock photo website.
Another thing is that I see some very bad images in color or composition or focus. I know it is natural to be less picky at first to make the site's portfolio grow, but then it's a tough market and you need to be special, offer something outstanding, to be able to compete. Keywords are also a problem - try to search for jeans and see what you find.
I hope this feedback helps. I'm always looking for new sites to grow together - I've been into stock photography for just a few months - but by now I think your site won't attract most of the contributors here.
Regards,
Adelaide
