Does anybody still care about what he has to say or what he is commenting about?  ::)

Of course sales get diluted when more people upload.

Hello everybody.
May be it is a stupid question. But for my VAT-declaration I need to know which country 123rf is based and I am still not sure which country it is because they have offices in several countries.
Because we need the W8BEN I would think it is US-based but I am quite confused.
Could anybody  please help me and tell me from what country 123rf is?

As far as I know there is no chance to avoid that.

I got paid on time. So no delay for me. I would contact support.

Hi Zach.
Thank you so much for your answer. :)

Hello Zach.
Will videoblocks be the seller?
I am asking because I am worried about who is going to pay VAT for EU-non-business-buyers.

General - Stock Video / Re: Is REVOSTOCK worth uploading Video?
« on: December 05, 2014, 00:36 »
Just checked my stats for several sites.
Compared to 2013 I earned only about 30% in 2014 at Revostock with regular sales, so a really major drop. I like Revo and want them to recover but have not much hope as not only compared to 2013 sales have dropped but also during this year. This second half of the year was worse than the first half of 2014.
It becomes even more a two sites show with P5 and SS which are both up for me and SS almost 100% up compared to 2013.
There are other sites my sales dropped. For example Clipdealer and Canstock were never high earning sites for me but it was worth to upload. This year it is also a drop of about 70% on both sites.

New Sites - General / Re: New contributor program
« on: October 25, 2013, 10:11 »
Sounds interesting but I
just read through requirements for video.
No Photojpeg codec?
I think that might put off several videographers (me too) because not everybody has the footage in h.264 and reencoding a whole portfolio is not an option.

I signed up in July and uploaded 50 footage clips as a first test. Forgot about them until I got first 2 sales messages last week.

14$ comission each for web size video. I will upload some more and see if I get some HD sales. Might be worth it. Prizes are not at the low end.

Hi Noedelhap.
I am sorry but I dont know how much they pay. But I read somwhere that the price is negotiable.

Videoblocks is not a normal footage site. You can`t contribute as a normal contributor and than get a commission on every sale.
They are buying the copyrights to the footage from the artist. They pay you once and then they can do what ever they like with your footage in future. If they want to they could give it away for free and with their prices they almost do already. Unlimited downloads for a price you have to pay for a single video on other sites. Thats a threatning direction towards "everything is free" and devalues our work.

I hope they dont grow to fast because it could destroy sales on the good sites.

93
Good news indeed.
Thank you for sharing.

94
Hi dolgachov.
Unfortunately there is no option for this on P5. If you want to sell different resolutions you have to upload them one by one like normal videos.

95
@tsfc: What do you mean by very high payout rate? All I can read is something about winning cash prices if you upload the most videos but nothing on single sales. Seems not attractive for proffesionals who depend on money from stock footage.

96
No need to wait.
Today I sold 1 winter video and 1 autumn video. And I sold spring videos in November.
Wish you many sales.

97
That is normal at SS. I had two footage refunds last month. And it is nothing new.
Had my first refund back in 2010.
But it doesnt happen to often at least not for me.

98
BME for me with a 300$ increase of the previous BME. Especially Pond5 (only footage) did really great for me.
Wish you all a fantastic april.

At least Istock is impressivley consequent at destroying themselves.
I hope it will be perhaps one of the best things that could happen to you, who knows?
My best wishes to you Sean.
