I have not been able to get an acceptance there for ages. I also cant get a straight answer out of them regarding what images they "want" or "need". They point you at a page that answers nothing!

I already closed my Canva account in May. Unfortunately my portfolio on iStock is published on Canva. I will end up by making pennies on Canva through iStock

No it is not possible to opt out. As for balancing the income ... they added the subs to the monthly tally but that has not been added to the final tally. If you go back several months you will see all the subs that have not been added into your payment total. I have had tickets in since the 9th and the only response has been an autoresponder. I then asked on FB whether they actually looked at tickets and they assure me they do. They said they would escalate it, so far still no response and the figures are still inaccurate. Communication with contributors does not seem to be high on their agenda, they used us to get going, and now I suspect they dont really need us. Why would they, when they have access to the whole of Getty/iStock and the free sites they now own (and who knows what other deals they have)?

It is an absolute nightmare. They were so promising as an actually innovative new idea. Then they got into bed with Getty and sales are absolutely going through the floor. Really depressed about this one.
It really is sad. Just a year ago, I made $450 there. This month, looks to be around $40. Such a good idea too.

Both I think, they dont really need submitters any more, they now have access to the Chinese arm of Getty and have purchased 2 "free image" stock sites .... (that I know of) They used Stock image makers to get their design platform going and now no longer need us. I dont expect anything great from them now. Their focus is on the design platform and they change the rules for submitters without ever letting us know anything about it!

I've submitted quite a few over the past couple of weeks. They were in the processing folder on the ftp site for a while and then disappeared - no reviews or anything and no sign of them in my portfolio. I need to ask what happened before trying to submit any more.
hmm guess it is not just me ... I have stuff in the processing folder from the 14th.

I think at this stage we have no idea which ones have actually been accepted and which ones have not.
Just about every international submitter has had 30% withheld with no proper accounting page telling us why.

Is anyone here getting any reviews and acceptances for new uploads? I've got three batches waiting. Admittedly it's only been a week/ten days, but until recently reviews used to be quite quick.
I have no idea where my last upload went, it does not seem to be in "processing" or in my port!

I think Lee is gone. He's been updating his blog madly lately, and the reason showed up yesterday - a consulting business to make money from stock photographers.
At the end of his "about" page he says he works at Canva

I sent a support ticket via the site July 10th and Lee replied to it (the statement they'd be clarifying their criteria for accepting content in the next newsletter) , so if he has left it's recent. His LinkedIn page lists Canva as a current employer.
Edited to add that they've now removed a bunch of backgrounds - I'm down to 245 approved images.
I am scratching my head on what content they actually want ....

Only a relative detail but somethig else which doesn't help is that anything a tad unusual, technical or sometimes even creative then often lacks the vocabulary to even keyword it properly....
There needs to be a quick route to get new words added....
Even unusual place names suffer the same fate and I hate that I have to hyphenate double barrel names that are common in Australia, like Gin Gin, Wagga Wagga and hundreds more, in the titles and of course are not in the CV at all.

One of their designers used one of my images that I uploaded only a few months ago to make one of their premade Canva designs (one of the designs in their search). They "rejected" the image after a little while, but not the featured design utilizing my image, which sells almost daily. 
Do you get paid for the image use?
Yes, every time someone uses the design. They rejected the image over a month ago but the design they made with it and include in their search still sells almost daily. It's illogical and they have given no explanation. For my own sanity I stopped uploading.

I have less than a quarter of my originally accepted files and many of my selling files have been deleted. I have not received an email except a personal reply from Lee when I contacted him.
I am wondering if someone has already used an image in a design and wants to use that image again, is it going to be available to them or not?
My sales came to a screaming halt with the deletions.

All good now. Just cant do a avatar or find a way to look at someones port.
If you click on the avatar square you get the option to change it, not being able to look at people's ports is a pain. Maybe we need to put our port links in a signatures.

Ok, I'll formally submit this suggestion to MSG: spin off a POD forum. Many microstockers (like. me) have moved on to POD, so it's logical for this forum to evolve too, and there would be interesting discussion. There's no place for that discussion today. I've tried to interest some FAA forum posters in using the POD sub-forum here, but they see this as a microstock site, and are put off by the name and the URL.
I didn't even know there was a POD sub forum here and still couldn't find it.

Is Canva still doing weekend intake of uploaded content? I uploaded 30 images on Friday and I don't see them as pending in my portfolio (it's already Monday in Australia)
It's a public holiday here Jo Ann ... Queens Birthday. I am not sure if that will have anything to do with it though.

Yup started here too... Lets hope its higher than last month. Its getting harder to track which bar means what
I agree, the financial page on SS is much easier to read .....no graphs and everything in neat tables showing your earnings per day  My bes PP as an indie as $9 in April for a single image. So far on 28c dribbles in May.

I see the forums have gone poof.
That would be crazy as Indies supposedly have access to the old forums till they get invited to the new one .... This weird way of testing the site is totally bizarre, I have never heard of testing like it before ...
