They don't let you change the country it's a rip-off, I'm trapped in a Dollar-account from the very beginning though I lived my whole life in Germany. But if I could change to Germany I would earn Euros and therefore they would have to pay me more this is the reason they don't let change you the country because they are afraid to loose some money.
Why did you set up a dollar account to begin with, if youve always lived in Germany? Why wouldnt you have changed it to euros in the beginning? Just curious.
2004 was no choice it was just Dollars therefore US!

don't forget the Tiananmen Square massacre!

And don't forget the WWII.
Your move.
I assume you talk about Germany? Germany did well to overcome it's past. It is a complete different political system now. The criminals of WWII had been held accountable not only in the Nuremberg process but in many processes after war. Billions of reparation had been paid to the victims of WWII. Human rights are well protected in modern Germany. It is like in Spain where you have now a complete different political system that is not accountable for the crimes of the Franco regime. It is very different in China it is not even the same political system when at a the time of the massacre it is even the same political clique that is still in power. None was ever held accountable for the crimes. Human rights are constantly broken in China. But again hey good luck with your new friend China wish you well!

lack of solidarity of some countries (Germany, Netherlands, Finland, Austria...). Italy, Spain and France are alone in this war. I hope China will help us.
Germany took a lot of patients from Italy and France just an example and you call it lack of solidarity? China or better their government is responsible for this bug and all the misery it came with it, they should closed the wet markets long ago not just because Sars version 1 in 2002/2003 developed from the wet markets the same way as now Sars version 2 but also because these wet markets are exceptional cruel to animals and they even sell endangered species for eating purposes. But hey good luck with your new friends from China and don't forget the Tiananmen Square massacre!

Historically, March is the strongest month by far. This year, after a good start, it's becoming a catastrophe.
SS looks like is going to have the worst month since November 2007!
yes indeed March was always the strongest month for me since 16 years and my portfolio is very diverse but this year it looks that it will end half of what I made in January, Corona will have it's impact your mileage may vary but in general there is no doubt that this business will be hit hard too!

My last sale with them was from July last year: $0.09 They used to be okay about 5 years ago (at this time files had to be exclusive) but since then it is getting down fast I'm keeping my portfolio but don't upload to them anymore...

The signed release is valid after the death of a person. Ethically is very personal you can ask the photographer to take down the pictures in question.

this thread lead me to look at my stats at SS for a very long time. I was surprised how well I performed my monthly earnings have been in the 200-400 $ range so very small earner but compared to 2017 it was actually better without doing anything in 2018 at all! I don't wanna be cynical but maybe the problem is your massive upload that put you back!

It is interesting but I really don't understand it, are there tutorials? Not that I'm going to do it, beside ethical reasons my problem is not creating new work it is wading through it and bring it online. How do you handle model releases do you just fake them?

ACDSee Pro was always my main picture browser and I used Lightroom only on a side for a few special tasks. It's not perfect but much faster than Lightroom. On a Windows PC the Mac version kinda sucks.
