Hi,
Whenever I try and upload to videoblocks with the temporary login, it never connects. Does anyone else have this problem or am I just doing something wrong? I fill out the "Host, Username, password and Port" that videoblocks gives me and press Quick connect but it wont connect. Thanks s:) 78
General Stock Discussion / Re: Pond5 submitting and quick review times« on: May 21, 2017, 11:41 »
thanks for replies!
Yes it was super quick - most were accepted and a few were rejected for too short a title. But those were kept on uploads to edit, even more useful as I didn't have to upload and keyword them again, just change the title. Maybe it's quicker for animation? My vids are simple motion graphics. Bit of a bummer if it's hard for newcomers, I'll have to see how it goes! Unfortunately I wouldn't say my animations are anything unique! ![]() suz ![]() 79
General Stock Discussion / Pond5 submitting and quick review times« on: May 19, 2017, 12:38 »
New to Pond5, so I have no idea how sale will go but just had Pond5 videos reviewed in the same day.
Found it a really easy site to upload and submit to. I had a couple not accepted but the review was helpful and specific. Just a quick question, does anyone put something in the description box? If I leave it blank is that lessening the chance of being found or is the title more important? thanks suz 81
General Stock Discussion / AE templates« on: May 05, 2017, 06:35 »
Hi there!
Is there any use for simple motion graphics AE templates? Would submitting an AE template be a kind of equivalent to submitting a vector instead of just a jpeg? Do designers maybe use a simple motion graphic in a bigger project? It might be a bit time consuming preparing a template but if it opens more sales perhaps worth it. thanks suz ![]() 83

How many peeps have got clients through their stock portfolios?
I like the artistic freedom microstock brings but until I win the lottery, like most I need to pay bills:) So was wondering if it it did lead to the chance of paying clients for anyone? S 86

General Stock Discussion / Pond5 pricing« on: April 25, 2017, 04:32 »
Hi,
Would anyone be able to give me a rough idea of pricing motion graphics videos in comparison to say HD or 4k? Would they more or less expensive? I've looked at some on pond5 but there seems to be such a variation even with similar quality videos. Thanks ![]() 90

General Stock Discussion / using a map« on: December 13, 2016, 10:49 »
Hello
I would like to use maps of countries or continents in compositions. How do I do this without copying a drawing of a map? I did a very rough globe for some of my pictures, it was basically just a load of blobs so I didn't need to refer to anything. But for a picture with something vaguely resembling the shape of a country or continent - how would I go about it? Drawing roughly around a map would still be considered copying but there's no way I could guess the shape. Thanks Suz ![]() 100
