Actually this is new. Up until this pointg iStock stated very specificially that they do not allowe any kind of editing with AI tools.
How will they know if you used content aware or AI to remove a person or a logo from a picture?

Nothing new, its something I was already doing for some time, instead of using cloning and wasting a lot of time to removing small things now we can do it with AI, im ok with this even tho i'm totally against generating full pictures with AI.

My weekly ranking went up a bit after the $5 Free images accepted.
Do you only create photographs or also illustrations and vectors?

Above average month for me but I expect better next month, July volume of sales increased quite a bit compared with the rest of the year.

They nominated 2500 files at the start, I selected like 1000 for free section and in the end they selected only 6, what a joke.

For me SS is going better and better, last month was the BME for income and downloads.
Over 4 digits income this month and still one week left to go.

To give an indication of how far my Shutterstock port has fallen in terms of sales...
Last year in May, my Adobe revenue was half of SS. Downloads were about a quarter of the downloads I had on SS.
This year, Adobe revenue is double that of SS. Downloads are almost equal and slightly higher on SS (SS downloads are down 50 percent from last year though). The revenue is double because my Adobe RPD is about 1$ while on SS it's 25 cents. This despite the fact that I have the same images on both ports. In fact, my SS port is bigger because of editorials.
But overall revenue (AS + SS) how is it compared with the last May?

For me SS is by far the best agency and the number of sales are constant.
Download numbers are quite good there but I see you have 10x more photos than mine and few less videos. How's the revenue-per-download going? That's where I've seen the biggest hit to earnings.
My RPD mixed (videos+images) is around 0,80$ per download for this year, actually it went up compared with last years. AS RPD is over 1.1$ per download mixed but half the downloads of SS.

Downloads slightly above average, revenue dramatically below average. In my case, the revenue is 40% compared to March 2023.
Same here, same amount of downloads as March 2023 but revenue is 40% less.

Sales was slow yesterday, but still holding good ranking somehow. I want to be above 1,000th when I finish creating/adding another 4,000 AI photos sometime this year, I hope. I'm running out of my ideas for AI photos now to be honest. It's not as fast pace as it was in my first few months of AI photo generation.
A bit off topic, but may I ask what soft are you using to create Ai images? Thinking of adding some to my port too,
Midjourney. We have too many contributors uploading AI images now. So please dont start doing it!!
With so many people doing exclusive AI images since you don't need any expertise in the field, it's a good time to switch to a real photographer and try to find a niche which AI don't cover it or can't replicate it.

The problem with all these AI tools, they don't provide the location, keywords and description about location which for me is very important, even tho the test image had the coordinates in the picture, Udream (the only one tested) didn't use any of that info to provide the location, so useless for me.

My stats for this month:
SS downloads (mix) 2.5x more than AS
SS RPD (mix) 0.65$ (AS RDP is over 1$ per file (mix))
SS earnings 1.5x more than AS
I see a small decrease in income on SS side mostly due the video income, on images im doing better than last year, on AS I see an increase of income almost 30% in the first 2 months compared with the average of last year.
Overall both agencies are bringing more income montly than last year.

This is a clear example that everything behind these tools involves stealing from other contributors, don't understand how these kind of tools are still allowed to work.
