I'm curios if there is any contributor who is making money with the new plan, im making good money with SS but I opted out for this $hit.

I opted out for unlimited downloads and my sales numbers are in the normal range, so from own experience I don't see a drop in the sale numbers.

Wondering if anybody who is in for this model would like to share the earnings or they are available only by the end of the month?
#79
No, thank you! Also this model can affect my sales on other platforms as well, so no, not for me.

I would love to see your work, can you share it please?

No, I'm sorry. Today is the time to defend our niches from thieves and copycats.

It's not my hobby, it's my job.

I hope you understand.

Yeah, totally understand, I was curios only about prints, don't worry, it's fine.

I've been doing this for 20 years. I sell my photos taken on film (medium format) in some galleries (brick and mortar) and something through my website (These images are not for sale on microstock sites).

I would love to see your work, can you share it please?

In addition to stock, I sell about a hundred prints a year, but the earnings are not enough to do only that.

How do you do that, I am thinking of doing that myself.
#84
Clearly I know more than you!

Basically, you're no longer selling a single image for 10 cents—you're giving away your entire portfolio for about the same amount. A customer pays once for a subscription, downloads everything they can, and doesn't bother renewing. This kind of model isn't sustainable in the long run.

I don't write much on this forum, I'm eleven years in this, and Iet me tell you, you have no idea how much money is in the unlimited subscription model!

Yeah, you really have no idea how little you actually get. It's not "unlimited income", it's unlimited giving your portfolio away for pennies. But hey, good luck with that.

Looks like you have 11 years in this and you didn't learn anything.
#87
yeah, opted out as well

How . you supposed to register if you don't have an VAT ID?

Topic can be closed, I found an Adobe Bridge script which is doing the job very good.

Hello,

I am looking for a script for Adobe Bridge 2025 that can export the following metadata for video files into a CSV file: Filename, Title, Description, and Keywords.

If anyone has such a script and is willing to share, I would greatly appreciate it!

Thank you in advance.

Slow week here as well.

In the last few days a lot of sales on SS, but almost all in the range of $0.10-$0.15 (level 5).

In the last 3 days SS sales are 3 times those of Adobe for me.

In this moment Adobe can't grow anymore, SS sells a lot but the RPD is low, high priced sales have disappeared. Not a good situation.

I was hoping that SS would lose market share to Adobe (which has the highest RPD), but it's not happening as I expected.

Very true but yesterday was a good day for me at least on SS, I had so many of these days last year, lets hope they are coming back this year.

My video trend has had some ups and downs, but have been steadily heading down on Shutterstock for the past year.  Especially the past three months.

How big is your video portfolio, are you doing also images?
#95
Last 12 months videos vs images trend on SS:

#96
There's no real point in producing stock videos anymore. Videos were expected to be the next big thing in stock photography, but that hasn't happened. Images are selling much faster and at better prices than videos these days. I do a lot of drone photography and videography, but given the current trend, I don't see the value in continuing to invest in video production.

My video sales have dropped from $500 a month on Shutterstock to under $100, even though the sales volume has remained the same. The pricing for stock videos has become ridiculously low.

30% higher than 2024, not bad.
#98
Pretty good Monday for me, can't complain, both AS and SS.
#99
Yes, it was bad on the video side this year.

291$, low month for me
