Has anybody heard of (or better has experiences with) Newsflare? On there site it says "We provide viral and breaking news videos to media and news organisations across the world." Ive just signed up to give it a try. They have a "refer a friend" scheme. "When they make their first sale - youll get 10 and your friends will also get a 10 reward!" So here is my referral link if anybody wants to try them out as well: https://invite.newsflare.com/axel.bueckert

Ramzi Rizk (one of the EyeEm founders) has replied in a Facebook group that the problem is on Gettys side. EyeEm has not received their report yet. And from what Ive heard from another contributor Westend61 havent received a Getty report either.

I like EyeEm very much, the photos look very good, they accept a high average of photos and I sell with them. But the best thing is the payment system ... IMMEDIATELY sell and collect what you sell !!! ESo speaks of a healthy company without debts all day.
The sales that were reported yesterday happened in DECEMBER on Getty. And NO direct sales have not been reported for at least 2 months. They are NOT reported real time!

Thanks for everyone. Your comments have been noted and I'll be sure to share them with the development team.

Hi Mat, you called the feature "lifetime earnings" but by default only the earnings of the last 3 months are displayed. That makes no sense! Its good that you can set a date range but that should be optional - the default should be "all time". Also to get the full picture I now have to go to "dashboard" to see how often my bestsellers sold and to "insights" to see how much they earned. Couldnt that be implemented on ONE page?

Do you still don't believe in capping system? In reality, they just regulate which and how much of your files the buyers will see. #fact

'......your royalty rate will still be 35% of the sale price in that jurisdiction' yep, they'll be selling cheaper then. Exciting news.....
Apparently not!

Its incredible how negative the members of this forum have become...
I feel watching the course is certainly time better spend than reading this forum of negativity. So, thanks mindstorm.
By the way, a certain Mat Hayward is heavily featurd in the course.

Hi Everyone,
This morning we updated the minimum commission structure. You can view details at this link: https://helpx.adobe.com/stock/contributor/help/royalty-details.html
The breakdown detailing the changes can be seen in this chart. Let me know if you have any questions.

Hi Mat, this is great news and a step in the right direction! It would be even better though if the "minimum payment" would be really the mininum (for all sales). At the moment everyone below Emerald still gets less than the "minimum" for XS credit sales at Fotolia. Or am I mistaken?

Did others get the email as well? I didnt. Although 84 of my images are already online on Getty.
Hi, I didnt recieve the email either. How do you know that the photos are alredy online on Getty? If I go to Manage Photos, under licensing I see some in prime collection, others in core collection and others declined, but I cant find any link to my images on Getty
Thanks!
Some images have a "buy a license" button (not visible under manage photos!). If you click on it you get redirected to Getty.

So, sales came in before the announcement:
Congratulations! Your photos were selected by Getty Images and are now available for licensing on gettyimages.com.
See your photos on Getty Images
Why are my images being selected by Getty Images? As of July 1, we have shut down the 500px Marketplace and will be working directly with two distribution partners - Getty Images and VCG - to license our contributors work globally. As a 500px member who has contributed to licensing, your images may be made available for licensing through our partners. Distribution partners resell 500px content on their own websites and then monthly or quarterly, report their sales to 500px.
How am I compensated if my image is sold through Getty Images? Getty Images reports their sales to 500px on a monthly or quarterly basis. 500px then processes Distribution partner royalties through our payment system and the sales appear in the photographers Licensing Sales History.
Did others get the email as well? I didnt. Although 84 of my images are already online on Getty.

Colourbox can simply delete Your profile with all works without any reason. Just because they want do that.
Spoiler alert: EVERY agency can do that...

The minimum commission at Getty is actually $0,02. (You are talking about EyeEm.)

With 25000 lifestyle photos you consider $100/month on Alamy good?

« on: June 13, 2018, 07:54 »
Just hit 500 today.
closer to $100 for me and its been steady month on month.
Who could have thought the $2 could stack up so nicely.
What does that mean? 20$/month? 100$/month?
For me its only $2 - $16, thats why I stopped uploading. How big is your portfolio?
Then its going really well for you! Care to share your portfolio link? Do you sell mainly mobile images or "normal stock"?

My last direct sale via Zoonar was in 2012... And yes, clearance for the partner sites can take many months.

I understand. But has anyone made a sale in 2018? Thanks.
14 downloads in 2018. BUT - as dino already mentioned - some of them are FREE downloads from other users.

They pride themselves for their "photocase style", so prepare yourself for a 90% rejection rate... 100% if you only upload microstock style images.
In other words, they try to only sell good photos?
No, its all very random. They pick what they like most and reject the rest. If the review queue gets to long... they clear it by rejecting everything. If you upload the rejected images again, its very likely that at least some get accepted. So its not about "objective" quality.

Why do you keep asking the same questions over and over again? You want other people to make the decisions for you?
If the missing watermark is a problem for you: Dont upload!
If you are onyl planning to upload typical micrsostock images you wont have much success anyway...
