You are definitely right about SEO. Before posting I looked around to give the links a nofollow tag in the forum format, but I couldn't find anything. Any ideas how I could do that?

usually i just do something like double u times 3 dot tomato dot to or something like that.

And now you have posted two posts, two links to this scum, helping them with advertising. change the url to something not a clickable link.
This forum is the last place I would expect to find the beneficiaries of that website, so I'm not really concerned about advertising it here. Or so I hope.

It needs to be as visible as possible among us so that many of us send reports to affected stock sites in order to get this cancer taken down fast.

I didnt say anything about not talking about it. I said make the url
not clickable. Links = SEO = helping the scumbags

I am always amazed at the stones these sites have at making these kinds of bad news announcements right before Christmas. For gosh sakes, no time is a good time, but couldnt they at least wait until January to announce? Ba$tards.

I do not know how to help me? About the knowledge I am looking for, I seek to share this information.

If English is not your native language, click on Forum towards the top of the page, then scroll towards the bottom. There are other language forums, maybe you can post in one of those?

Why would SS hurry??  when theyre earning money on all stolen goods!
Thats exactly why I dont think they care about it, unless a contributor makes a big stink, or its one of their best-selling contributors. Money is money, they dont care how they make it.

Sorry Shelma,
Wrong assumption.
If you contribute footage, you would never, ever want to contribute still images as well

Really? Seems like there are a ton of people here who started out with images, then added video to their ports.

Since I turned Emerald at FT over 2 years back its been a steady decline!  first one to notice that was Lisafx!  she is not with us anymore but her observation was spot on!

No, there are no such thing as caps.  ;)

Discussion Franaise / Re: Les dbuts en microstock photo
« on: November 12, 2018, 11:57 »
heres the answer in english:

A hundred photos is really very little.
Today It is difficult to have sales with a small portfolio, even if it is of very good quality.
In addition there is more and more competition ... not always very loyal - a lot of spam on Shutterstock for example (portfolio with hundreds of similar images or simply duplicated). So our images are lost (buried) among others. A needle in a haystack ...
I think you can start to see entries, minimal but fairly regular, with a portfolio of about 1000 images. Of course it also depends on the topics you propose and their uniqueness. The "thing" is to have rather unique images but also worthy of interest, which is increasingly difficult when sites like Shutterstock offer 200 million images ...
If 10 years ago it was worth getting into the world of microstock, today, from my point of view, the game is not worth the candle: too much work for too little results.

General Stock Discussion / Re: Who signs the property release?
« on: November 10, 2018, 12:34 »
You had to ask permission of the home owner to go in and take the photos, so you would need a property release signed by the owner. But I can see circumstances where you mght need one from the manufacturer too. For instance, if they use a certain wallpaper design unique to their homes, and they recognized it in a photo, it might be an issue. Its so difficult today, everything seems to be a design with a copyright.

If Trump wants respect then he needs to show it to the press, and he doesnt. What goes around, comes around. POTUS is the ultimate position to be a leader and lead by example, and he should be held to a higher standard, but he acts about as low as you can get. Some of us dont call him our President.

Acosta is very rude not just to Trump but Sarah as well, I have no pity for him and I would have ejected him long ago!! If you can not be a responsible reporter then get out, when the president, any president asks you t stop then do it! Acosta is like a 3 year old ask the same questions over and over again.

And Trump isnt rude? Dont you think making fun of a handicapped person in front of reporters, cameras, the world, is rude? Cracks me up, the Trumpeteer logic.

The dog is mine and the person holding her is my son.

So it would be easy for you to submit the model release for your son. That way you dont have to worry. Personally, I would say you dont need one, but yes, depends on the agency, and some agencies would say that someone could recognize themselves from the clothes. Silly, but... Bottom line, their game, their rules.

General Stock Discussion / Re: New FREE Stock Selling Course
« on: November 04, 2018, 07:28 »
Its incredible how negative the members of this forum have become...

I feel watching the course is certainly time better spend than reading this forum of negativity. So, thanks mindstorm.

By the way, a certain Mat Hayward is heavily featurd in the course.

Well, for most, microstock is in a negative slump, so only makes sense that people are feeling negatively. But I gave you a +1 for mentioning watching the course and saying that Mat Hayward is in it.
