Beside showing your pics Flickr is a fantastic learning tools because of its the groups (it is there I saw my first HDR pic by the way).
Also I met a couple of people to go out an take pictures in my town .
Contact list is pretty handy as well.
Usually I put my microstock pics there small size+watermark to be covered but also put more artistic pics I don't sell on MS

I know it is soon to draw conclusions but my downloads are much slower than usual this month, did not even get one today yet  I read on SS forum that some people experienced the same trend What about you ?

Well done Paulo way to go It is true that there are lot of quality HDR on Flickr. If you want to see amazing ones took in Manhattan go to Shutterstock and type HDR This one is mine that I did recently

Very interesting analysis Andresr:) I think at one stage the only way to increase $ is to gradually move pictures from microstock (avoiding sites with purely sub sales) to midstock. Quite a lot of agencies are present on this market now and they pay in Euros : I am thinking about mostphotos, zoonar,panthermedia......

I think too that moving to midstock sites makes sense. Let sites with subs envy midstock growth. Should we have a section devoted to midstock only discussion ?
Yes I think a midstock would make sense, someone suggested this earlier this month. Who do I have to pm for that ? L

123RF was slower than usual for me this month but got better after the 15 so I might have a BME. It takes at the moment 7% of my earnings.
Overall I like the website and I my best sellers are very differents to the ones in IS and SS.
One thing to do increase sale is to "pimp" 20 of your pictures by adding them to your favorites, it really works very well.
I like the new movable watermark very much

I switched a while ago from 4 to 5MP it makes a big difference overall for submissions . My 4MP shots did not do the cut for SS. You can be a second hand on ebay like a Lumix FZ5 I still use it from time to time. Also this website could be useful : http://web.forret.com/tools/megapixel.aspGood luck L

Thanks:) It is difficult to get HDR pics to IS because it create artifacts, SS is much easier I found.DT take them usually as well
