You never know. Depends who is reviewing your work . I usually go the extra mile even if is not needed, just to be sure.Keep in mind that model release are not only for reviewers . Its a way to  keep your port safe for any infringement claims especially now. So if you have them use them

Yes you can log in whit the old info or if you forgot them just do a password recovery from their log page.
I didn't have high hopes but this is just sad. Useless info without any relevance . Your port  link is well hidden on the page bottom. No info on downloads or money .Why they even bother with this change.
Looking at my new SS interface...i may not be pleased or used with all their changes, but still is a huge difference .

Time vs profit. No one can tell you if is worth it or not for you. Only you know best . For everyone is different.There are more than 50 agencies on the market . Most of the big guys don t upload at more than 10 , or even 5 big ones . Posting is a laborious thing. It takes time and effort. You have to edit, clean and double and triple check your file ,especially with vector files. Then you have to keyword them properly.Takes time and for couple penises more you need to see if is worth it.
For some is just a matter of principle. Ask those who pull their files from Istock they can tell you more

All the agencies are counting on that. That should be their business motto. They can cut your royalties, change the search parameters,  do everything they wish and pay you as little as they want because  they count on this type of thinking "At least i earn something"

They remove the ability to see your earnings because they are moving the entire site on Getty platform. You should have an email from them whit your earning attached  from past months. As far as i know that is the only way you can see your sales without a third party program ,which i advise against.
Be aware that from feb you can't log in on the old site anymore... they will send you another email whit your link and log in info.

Yes micro maybe is quantity but if you produce  1000 pictures a week and one of your pictures is truly amazing all i ask from SS is the ability to find it easy and BUY IT. Or do i ask to much?

Jav i m in the same boat as you. Until recently i didn't worry about the increase in content because i knew that if i put the time and work in my files somehow they were finding their way to the top and most importantly stood there by merit and not because of some algorithm . I agree that you must expand your port and work harder for your money but not whit random generated sht ,but with those who  produce good content to. And if  i lose  money because someone  had  bather  illustration than me well that was fair .

I have some watercolor paintings that i wish to upload to SS. As i understand they do not accept trace vector anymore so i need to post them as jpeg.
Can anyone help me please whit the requirements ? What size is best for the file and what do i need to do different  than uploading vectors?

My vector files had never sold well  at the start. That was a constant and still is in the three years that i upload on different sites. But after few months thing change , and begin to add constant downloads and i may add a decent revenue . My port is  not a very big one  i concentrate more on quality and detail, at least i try XD.
I was wandering if this is a common fact or is something that i m not doing right.


PS.From my personal observation i see that  if you upload a small batch is very quickly  buried in  a see of new uploads. Only in few hours you will find yourself easily on page twenty or more.

It would be nice to have the option. I have some best seller that will benefit from a larger preview . Removing them and post them again is not relay a good option. Some are very high in popularity and even if that doesn't reflect the sell  value of a file is still bather than losing in the thousand of new post.

My old vector files sell ok still, but there is a constant decline  . I uploaded then in 400x400 preview stile on ss so now i m stuck whit the small image . Is there a way that i can upload a new bigger preview , without loosing the seniority of my files  ?

Yes it seamed i m to late for this Christmas. The thing is that i mostly upload general stuff. I was thinking that my port wold benefit from some seasonal work but i do not know if its wort it. And the thing is that the timing must be perfect to make a decent revenue  . So i guess is Valentine day time now ? xd

I was wondering if someone can help me figuring out how the timing works in posting vector art especially on SS.
First what is the best time to start posting art for holidays. So if Christmas is in 25 dec. i was thinking starting from 20/25 nov . Is this ok or is too soon.
Is there an accepted formula for all holidays or all have their timings?

I recently reach the requirements for I stock exclusivity.Normally i don't think its a good idea to go exclusive but i notice that the files that sells very well on i stock don't sell so well on other agency.Its ok if i remove this files from other sites and only use them on i stock or i have to remove all my files even i do not use them on i stock?It is ok to keep to separate sets of images one for i stock exclusivity and one for other sites?

I do not intend to  use STOLEN stock photos on youtube.I want to buy pictures from stock.All i want to know is if the Standard License cover the use of photos on Youtube

I want to make some photoshop tutorials for my youtube channel.Obviously i need some pictures to work with.Can i use pictures from microstock sites ?

I see that SS have over 16 mil stock photos.How many are vectors...does anyone know?
I am asking because the demand for stock photo is much lower compared to the numbers of stock photo currently on the marcket.Is this the case with vectors also ?
