earnings from jan 5 to jan 10

good year start
#2
nice one, SS!

but still i had video files reject as if the files were corrupted. but they got accepted on other agencies

i started microstock 2018, but with adobestock i started 2021 with super 9$ in that year. 2022 war 120$

microstock is not a passime income anymore. i almost doubled my earnings this year compared with 2024, but i also uploaded lots of content.

again, not passive income for me. 'active income', because for good results, you gotta be active. the 'rejectiongate' was a big problem, with 80-90% of my content being rejected (even drone timelapses, wich i had great aceptance before), but now things are '''''''''better'''''''''', with real content being over 90% approval rate for me. but sure, the rejectiongate made lots of people giving up.

also, now, newbies have only 200/weekly uploads, and people with 1k+ sales have about 1000 uploads/week.

the game have changed, so we also must change the workflow

yes, i got the same problem. all the 100 videos uploaded were rejected for this problem. i tought it was because of the h.265 codec from my drone, and now i'm rendering it in h.264..

but looks like i'm not the only one

sadly the video upload limit is 100 files/week at shutter, so i could not upload anything last week

(the rejections happened 4-5 days ago)

i'm seeing a lot of .20 sales lately. as a person that dont live in a country with TAX relations with the USA, i get some 'discount' on the sales

i got 4101 pre-selected files

usually they take like 3%? like photos collection?
#10
2024 - 93 usd
2025 - 270 usd

people crying as if it were Adobe's fault, but it is simply their decision to have produced less in the last period
#11
also a good week start, but lots to improve.
#12
finally thing are getting better again.. this was best week since the end of march.. lol

i used to make near 200usd/week.. now i'm celebrating a 140usd at AS 😅😅

anyway, good week was due a 30USD video sale.. i started focusing more on real life videos this year, and its worth it.

so i stopped uploading photos after de rejection madness. and for the last 2-3 weeks i've been uploading only videos, which have a better approval rate. so i'm seeing my rank/sales improving again. maybe the low approval rate i had during the rejection roulette time made me drop from ranks 1500-2000 to around 4000. and now i'm back at 2900 with 22 sales today. videos port still with only 600 files, but it is helping the photos to sell again i think.

Can you please shed some light on this post please.

Adobe really has a lot of heads spinning with what is going on as of late.

It's crazy making to say the least.

Thanks.

I think it's done with an AI analysis.

I don't like the way Adobe Stock has been working lately.

It favors quantity over quality. It favors AI spammers and penalizes traditional photographers and illustrators who spend much time on their creations with absurd rejections.

Gave it a +.  Great post.  AI analysis 100%.  It shouldn't be surprising considering they are software company and overall direction their stock platform has taken.

It is hard to argue against Adobe;  I contribute to 5 agencies and most months Adobe generates more revenue than other 4 combined.   In addition they have to fight endless streams of content pouring from everywhere.  But there are problems.  AI is nothing but a dumb tool that can't accomplish everything right; never did and never will.

I repeat again:  How did that over-spammed portfolio get accepted.  Here's the link again

https://stock.adobe.com/sg/search/images?creator_id=206533842&filters

Please click on it.  Scroll down and see all the shells.  Who accepted this??  Why don't AI software run against existing portfolios and identifies such things; I am sure there are many.  AI still should not reject anything, but notify human who can then easily take action.   Why is more information not posted here? When Matt was here at least there was proactive action, and correction when necessary;  how there are just announcements, for which chain emails would suffice.

I doubt anything will change.  As long as that shell portfolio is still available, for my money there are doing it wrong. Period

we all miss matt.

raul only post stuff and run lol. and his job is to make good contact with contributors.

good start this week!

but new files are not comming in. all i wish is adobe to be clear on what's going on!

i just got 100% rejection, photos and AI. why? weird. i have 6 years experience contributiong and follow all the rules. maybe its time to focus on real videos now..

Port size is increazing, but earnings walking sideways, but its ok for me.

weekly rank for this monday is 37 downlaods. 80$, pos 1800 (just had 2 nice $26 sales)
#19
days 18 and 19 were good..

today (20) is slow..

so far these are the earnings this week

my main goal for microstock in 2025 includes quitting my regular job. i already make more from stock than i make in my job, but i need to get strongers earnings in microstock in general before i can make this move..

sub goals:
-reach 2000 videos (actually only a 100..  :'( )
-1 photoshoot/week fo at least 100 images (can do it)
-keep uploading A.I. (if you cant beat them, join'em)
-travel and get some stock from it (already did it in 2024 and sold over my expectations)
#21
for me:

Images: MidJourney(30$ plan)
         or Leonardo.AI(10$ plan)

Video: i'm testing haiper AI. they have free credits for just testing the app.

today was a slow day, especially in the us. about 40% less than yesterday or monday.

yes, it could be a normal fluctuation, but I guess i need to upload much more for the us market.

things also slowed down here.. but ranking not changing much. maybe everybody is going slower?

this week download (until friday morning): 194

Moving up again, slight improvement to pos 1820, 6600 files

nice to see you moving up, cobalt!

meanwhile i'm 'moving down', just a bit (was 1270 last week)

fun fact is: i'm in a higher rank than you, but i have less downloads than you, lol.

this only makes me thing that is true that the weekly rank in based in the last 7 days (when i was having an average 60-70 daily downloads last week, and now i'm back to 'normal' download average of 40-50 in this week)

forgot to attach the screenshot in last post..
