IS inspection, although being professional regarding image quality failed with "The following keywords used for this file do not appear to be fully relevant to the subject". Recently they remove few most relevant keywords from 3d illustration.

I have problems too. Few days ago: when upload process was complete, site told me that my 16 Mpx files is less then 3 Mpx. Later I had succeeded to submit this files.

123RF / Re: 2013 is here - how about the promisses?

Level 2. Therefore, unfortunately, I have to remove most unique images from my small 600+ portfolio on 123rf: I anticipate the increased sales of these images on other sites.

With 50% royalty rate I have 0.87$ sales of P(print -sized) images. Even now it is the lowest rate in industry. With 35% I will get ~0.61$!! 0.25$ subscription is insulting too.

123rf has most attractive upload system and friendly team, therefore it would be pity to leave it.

iStockPhoto.com / Reactivating images
« on: October 09, 2012, 00:24 »
Hi,

A year ago I deactivated few images on istock in protest to new User Agrrement. But recently I realized that istock is still much better than 123f, DP or CS in royalty structure and reconsider the decision.

I used "Reactivate this file" option in administration menu (week ago) but nothing happened. Does anybody have any experience in reactivating images there? How does it work?

You are missing the whole point here, it is according to them not about commission but about retail price. I doubt if there are many agencies left with much lower commission than Fotolia, seeing they are the big driver behind the contributor earnings demise.

Indeed, for me (as contributor) neither the retail price, nor % of commission doesn't matter. The only important thing is $$ per download of image of a certain size and license. From this point of view, fotolia is somewhere in the middle with average high-res commission and one of the lowest subs and web size commissions (in the case of my ranking).
Nevertheless, I agree that the only reason to start with new agencies for me was the fotolia's (and IS) severe commissions cut.

I think that deleting files from agencies with lower-than-fotolia commission sounds reasonable and could be discussed. However, I am really concerned that immediately after removing files from these unnamed sites fotolia will drop down commission again without any excuses.
