My thoughts,

The VC guys want to sell Getty/istock.

The old deal made the bean counters question the valuation of the company.

Kelly is told to sort it.

We had these knee jerk changes before Getty sold the last time.

Lawyers and Accountants....

I did an MBA and remember the managing change stuff, this is a classic example of a high risk strategy. Hence I suspect they are cleaning the shop front for a quick sale.

Last year I thought I was doing well with 200 images I was earning around $500 per month, then the best match changed and devastated my earnings. It went through several changes through the Autumn (Fall) and now it is back to the good old days.

I know past performance is no guarantee but  I have learnt to take the ruff with the smooth. Also remember the kids at istock are driving a hot rod and have never been here before but there are a few sages around to keep them on the road. Stacey you will be okay stop being inpatient

Richard i am happy with my progress as a photographer and i take alot better photos than i did 6 months ago.
I will not spend my hard earned cash on upgrading my kit,hiring models or expensive lighting.
What i earn from my portfolio on istock will be reinvested when the time is right.

Buyers do decide so why not think like a buyer and try to deliver images that are useful.

Shank you post here like you are a experienced stock photographer. I have looked at your PF and I have seen some pleasing images but ..... I am gold on istock with half your PF. I would advise you to serve your apprenticeship before being so verbose.

What? Do you ever read or try to understand the posts here, you are now polluting another forum with your comments. some professional photographers earn several £1000 pounds per day and have little time, why would they risk damaging their brand by diluting it with microstock. It really depends on what type of business you have. I like the the reoccurring business model of stock but some of the top guy simply do not need it nor do they have the time.
