well is there anybody else who has tried stockeon?

BTW the video portfolio of 240 files is online since early April on 123rf and gained 40 $ in the first month, and just made the 115 $ benchmark for June alone...Stockeon just sold two more files yesterday and has reached 165 $...for it's first month that's great...still little compared to what Shutterstock and Pond5 return (also online since April)...
but hey...if you got your portfolio organized the upload of 240 files took me just two days, that's already with let's say 8h per day 10 $ per hour return...to be continued

I had over 100 $ in three weeks at Stockeon  ;)

haha true...but considering the quick upload of 240 files in two day I had the result of such a small and new agency ain't too bad...anyway, they are up now and we'll see what happens  ;)

I'm not interested in new sites unless they have something very different to offer or pay me to upload.  Unfortunately all the new sites in recent years that have just copied the style of the others have made me almost no money and many of them are no longer in business.  They are a complete waste of time for contributors and anyone starting a new sites that doesn't have something very different to offer must be crazy.

The upload process was pretty fast...my portfolio was up and running in two days...and in the past 3 weeks it is up know sales are better than 123rf (video)

Hey there,

we signed up with Stockeon last week, a pretty new (just three weeks) agency selling stock footage and templates.
http://www.stockeon.com/
Our first impression was pretty awesome...55% royalty rate and you can set your own price...fast review times...definately worth checking out. It's still pretty small so I can only encourage everybody to make this thing big to attract more customers :D

Anybody of you out there got any experience with this agency

General Stock Discussion / Stockeon

Hey everybody,

I just wanted to spread the word a little about a new agency for Stock Footage. They are called Stockeon
http://www.stockeon.com/

and made an awesome first impression on me. Easy uploading, remarkably fast review times, firendly and quick support and 55% royalty rate (like pond5, you can set your own price). The collection is stilly pretty small but I see potential as they also offer templates and tools for videomakers. I guess the faster it grows, the fast it'll attract cusomers.

New Sites - General / Re: Polylooks Mediastore
« on: June 11, 2009, 04:24 »
my first impression is quite divided...all my keywords are english due to all international agencies, in their FAQ they say it's allright to upload in German or English...so I didn't worry...now if i search for "windkraft", the translation for windpower I can't find a single image of mine...which is bad.....it's getting worse...if i search for windpower, 100% one of my keywords...I can't find a single image of mine  >:(  I asked support what to do and all they said was to keyword in english and german...
now I tried to add some keywords post-upload but it won't work...I'll have to contact support again about this, today is a holyday in germany...but the first good impression is a little wrecked...but maybe they fix this problem...if they do, I imagine polylooks has some potential...

what to others think, any experiences?

well, you guys can be glad to discuss about downloads at BigStock...I haven't had anyone at all

http://www.bigstockphoto.com/search/photographer/makeanotherme/

Well, I don't have many uploads and I am only online since April...BUT...I decided to upload to other sites aswell and they've been doing very well in the same amount of time....by the way, another disappointment is canstock ...they keep telling you "your portfolio is so small, we have over 1 million images here"...so what...shutterstock has almost 7 millions and I get downloads as hell...or at dreamstime I got a few downloads so far and several hundred views...and canstock...my most popular images have 2 views...
nearly the same with bigstock....

That's how I am doing at bigstock
