How many of you are aware that it was actually shutterstock starting this race to the bottom?

For years, bigstockphoto (owned by shutterstock and serve as test playground) offered 300 clips per 99$ a month
0.33$ per clip !!!

I have just deleted mine.

I'm submitting to depositphotos via service called picworkflow
and for the last couple of weeks/month, there is timeout error and the files are not proceeding.

Any ideas on how to solve it? Doubled checked the user name and password and that was not the source of the problem.

There is one way to stop Videoblocks race to the bottom.

I think if websites would put an ultimatum to creators: If your giving your stuff away on VB
you cannot work with us!

If most contributors won't be there they will either sell a smaller collection or have to change policy.

Ok, so I have 100 images with no embedded metadata,
I have on the other side CSV with all these images metadata.

I know that first thing is to embed in the images the data from the CSV.

I have no clue how to do this.

there used to be a link generator that can refer to clip,
not just link to the clips page. but referral link that also pay for any potential customer.

I only reflect my opinion but I think too many questions on istock and alamy are little outdated.

I think the main intrest is -

age
gender
full/part time at microstock
portfolio size
how many files uploaded this year
file types
where do you submit to (separately for video / images / illustration)
income
percentage of income by agency.     

I loved the Microstock Industry Surveys
but they stopped...or I missed something?

Few weeks ago Dissolve freezed my account for

I asked them to reconsider...
Today they sent me a long confusing email saying NO.
