I'd love to know if it will continue to work or if I should re-build again using something else.

Is grfx dead now? I'm afraid to upgrade to the latest version of woocommerce because it seems like grfx has completely disappeared and probably won't be upgraded any more.

I'm ready to switch! Do I need to deactivate the plugins I have now before I start? I'm incredibly web illiterate and hoping this process will relatively easy but I'm expecting to have some questions as I go. I'm excited to have a new look!

I used the sellmedia plugin for a year and one of their themes. I like it at first and my test sales worked but my real sales never worked. I always had to send the zip file to the customer. I switched to symbiostock this year and so far I love it! I've had one sale and and worked! And it's a lot easier to set up for someone like me who knows very little about web stuff.

i'm using it to sell vector illustrations here... www.staceywalkeroldham.com it took me awhile to figure it out but now everything is working properly and i'm happy with it so far! i'm hoping that in the future the buyer will have to click on something to agree to the license before downloading. for now i'm just adding a link to each item and including the license in the zip file.

I'm thinking about going completely indepndent and slling my own images. I've been selling exclusively through istock since 2003.  I am an illustrator woking in pen and paper nd selling my images as raster.

I've just dropprd my illustration exclusivity since istock considers me a photographer. I'd like to try selling my own vectorized illustrations but don't know really where to start.

All of the tools seem very photo-oriented. Is there one that works best for illustration?

How do you develop a  license agreement customized for your own work?

Please excuse the silly questions. I'm overwhelmed with all the info.

I haven't decided yet. But if only vectors are illustrations than I am not an illustrator as far as istock is concerned and perhaps now is the time to experiment with vectorizing while also testing out independence.

I just did minutes ago. I did it mostly because I'm not considered an illustrator.

I sent a note to contributor relations about my frustration with the sudden drop in sales that started sometime in september october. The first response was a copy and paste explanation of best match. I sent a sort of rude follow up and received a snotty portfolio critique. Something has definitely changed. I wish it were easy to delete a portfolio and move it to another agency or agencies. Maybe next year.
