And I feel better. Uploading was just a waste of time.  >:(

If LR tags are accepted everywhere then the best idea is looking in exiftool what tags are filled in...

But my problem is that sometimes , for some jpegs, in DT and 123RF, the keywords are not recognized as well, not only title or description... So far , with SS and FT, I did not have any problems. So that might indicate that the problem is in DT and 123RF tool that captures tags. Again, that happens only with some of my jpegs...

Is exactly the same problem that I encounter: for the same image on FT is well-parsed, on DT title and keywords are missing...  :(
I keep trying to play with metadata to better understand which is the problem but i wasn't able to identify any logical explanation...

Pete you're right, but there are two different posts for two different problems...  :)

I'm setting up the value for "ObjectName" IPTC tag, but some of the photo seems not to have the data recognized, for other (most of the batch) data is correctly imported...

I did the thing work for shutterstock.  ;)

Keywords are read from IPTC "keyword",
Title is read from "Description" of Exif or "Caption" in IPTC.

Did anybody experience any kind of problem on metadata reading on recent uploads?
I just uploaded a batch of approx. 20 files and for some of them (20% approx) title was not read...

Shutterstock uploader does parse metadata correctly.
Just make sure your file has metadata in all standards (EXIF, IPTC, XMP) to make sure all agencies parse it.
Just took another test - seems that the file is completely ignored now... Really strange hope it's a temporary issue...

Why don't you try and get the answer yourself?

btw yes it can.

I give a try and it didn't work.
Same file on FT came with keywords populated in submit form... that is the reason because I asked the question...

Hi all,
does anybody know if shutterstock uploader can read metadata (title and keywords) from the uploaded file?
I did some tests today with some of my file and it doesn't seem to work.

Is there any trick to let the uploader read the data?

Thanks in advance :)

Just uploaded 25 files in a bunch of minutes.
No issue now (at least for me :) )

123RF / Closing account
August 10, 2014, 10:49
Hi All,
is there any way to close my account on 123RF *AND* getting a payment even if I didn't reach the payout threshold?

Thanks,
M.  ;)

Happened to me with last batch. All pictures rejected with "poor lighting" reason...  >:(

Hey Mr,

Please PM your 123RF UID to me or email to [email protected] so that we can re-review the rejected images.

Sent you a PM.

Thanks in advance  :)

Hi everyone,
i get very disappointed today when I see that an entire batch of 20 photos approx. was rejected ("poor lighting/composition", they said). Other agencies accepted most of the pictures.  >:(
Is anyone experiencing something similar?
