I've had a submitted photo sitting there for 4 days now awaiting review. It's never taken them that long to review a submission. Is anyone else experiencing a very long wait to get their submissions reviewed? If anyone from Shutterstock is reading this, can you please let me know what's going on? This doesn't inspire confidence in Shutterstock.

Why are we not surprised?

Maybe IS are worried that the raspberries will start a glass action against them if the pic gets published commercially without an MR.

And did you carry out a health and safety risk assessment before stuffing the raspberries into that container?

Seriously, though, my own experience with IS makes me not in the least surprised at this excuse for rejecting a pic. They've thrown a few quite extraordinary ones at me, too.

In view of the amount of money you're likely to make from IS for this shot, is it worth your while spending time arguing with them about it?

I sometimes wonder why I continue to contribute to iStock. In my experience, their uploading and keywording/captioning procedure is the most long-winded, clunky and time-consuming of any of the microstock sites and sometimes their reasons for rejecting images are quite extraordinary. In addition, my sales-to-images-accepted ratio is far lower at IS, compared with other agencies. Does anyone else feel the same way?
