I just got one for .20 :) My lowest return on anything I've ever sold :)

My revenues were up 50% over September. I had quite a few credit sales. I hope it continues :)

I had a good month at Shutterstock but Fotolia did much better. It's been great since Adobe took over and I like their reviewers much better also :)

Really slow here also.

I've  done quite  well with a Sony A6000. This little camera can get the job done. I didn't buy it for stock photography but some of my best sellers have come from it. It's a great carry around camera also.

Shutterstock.com / Quick Sale Within 24 Hrs
September 27, 2015, 04:52
I will have to say I just had my fastest sales  on Shutterstock today. I shot some photos around 3pm on Friday. I processed them later that evening and had them loaded to Shutterstock a little after midnight. I got e-mail notifications around 8am Saturday morning  that they had approved 20 of the 22 images that I submitted. Around 2:30 pm I check my sales  for the day and had one of the photos that was approved at 8am that sold. So I shot the photo, processed it, uploaded it, had it approved, uploaded to Shutterstock and sold it all within 24 hours :)

I just think my style is a good fit at 123RF. However my Shutterstock and Fotolia photos are doing quite well and will catch up to 123RF shortly. Now if I can figure out Deposit Photos I do terrible there :)

I got a good EL and some good sales at Canstock. In fact I didn't believe it when I saw it and reloaded the page to make sure I wasn't seeing things. However 123 RF finally over took Canstock for the first time :) I don't see Deposit Photo moving from the number 8 spot anytime soon.  My new list :

1. 123 RF
2. Canstock
3. Shutterstock
4. Fotolia
5. Dreamstime
6. IStock
7. Bigstock
5. Deposit Photo

Adobe Stock / Re: Sales at Fotolia
August 25, 2015, 03:08
I started uploading around Jan 2015 and it seems my sales have picked up a lot after Adobe took over. The sales aren't as good as  Shutterstock but I would say they are my # 2 at the present. I really liked what Adobe has done so far.

Just got started in HDR photography and just submitted my first HDR photos . Has anyone had any luck selling them ??

Photography Equipment / Re: Sony A6000

I have Canon equipment now and thinking about switching over to Sony. I just think Canon & Nikon just aren't keeping up with Sony. I have a lot of Canon glass and just wondered how well they work on the Sony bodies with adapters.

Have you used any lens adapter on your camera ?  I hear they are coming out with a Sony A6100 or Sony A7000 with image stabilization built into the body. Just waiting to see what they retail for before going with the Sony A6000.

I started uploading to Pond 5 and have about 170 images on line to test the waters. Has anyone had much lucky selling photos through them ?

I've got a 50% success rate this morning in uploading. One batch made it and I don't have a clue where the other is. My first upload issues with them.

iStockPhoto.com / Newbie Question

I just started uploading to IStock. I see my earnings going up and my downloads staying the same. I tried searching the site to find out where my new earnings are coming from.  I still can't figure it out. What am I missing ??

Anyone using a Sony A6000 ? I've seen several good reviews on it. I was just wondering if anyone has been using it for stock photography.

CanStockPhoto.com / Pleasant Surprise
May 21, 2015, 00:25
I've only been uploading to agencies for a couple of months now part time and have lees then 100 photos up on most sites. I've had sales on every site I've loaded to but Canstock and was getting ready to write them off. I dropped by the site today and had a $ 25 and $2 commission on sales. I think I've changed my mind :) I wanted to say "thanks" for all the great help and advice I've received from this site.

I have a friend trying to sell me his old Canon 5D full frame camera. I have a couple of Canon 7D cameras at the present as I shoot a lot of sports & wildlife. Can the Canon 5D still cut the mustard for a studio camera ? The price is right but I haven't used a older Canon full frame before.

CanStockPhoto.com / Review Times

What's up with Canstock and their review times. I have some photos that I posted from 3-30 and they haven't touched them yet. The short time I've been with them they usually had everything reviewed within 48 hours.
