For me Pond5 - I have not taken my port down but the effort/return ration is higher than any other agency so I have stopped bothering uploading.

New Delhi is in Japan. And Japan is definitely not in Japan.

Like others I pulled out my port after a year or so of zero sales.

Do they know there are other countries than America, as their AI is assuming my English Lake District photos were located there.

I have just had a load of landscape photos, with no people or content across a range of locations rejected for non licensable content.

I asked for clarification, explaining I had checked their known restrictions page for Europe, cannot see what the issue was and could they explain what the issue was. I had a reply quoting my description for the example image I sent and that "comes under the Geographic locations which is a part of Non-Licensable Content" so I am none the wiser.

Decided to park the batch for a month or so and try again.

I indexed the drive I store my port on, and then realised to search, you then need to put in the search box tag:<keyword> for example tag:railway.

This is going to save me a lot of time in the future.

my workflow means that I have for years bunged processed photos into folders by Year/Month.

It is a real pain to try and find a particular image when I nee to grab one. Then the other day it occurred to me that EVERY ONE HAS METADATA. Like what our potential clients use.

So it seems a no brainer to be able to use metadata search to locate ones I need.

However a Google seems to show that if your files are on Onedrive or similar, you can search by metadata, there seems to be no solution for ones saved locally.

Is anyone out there able to search local files by Metadata? And if so how do you do it?

I have a chum who has looked into this as he wants to start getting commercial work (adding value to his wedding photography. He told me (so this is second hand) that there is a qualification you need to get before you can start any commercial work. (This is in the UK). Hope that helps.

The "Image Gallery Stats" page allow people to review 20 image titles at a time. I think I can go through it in an hour or 2.

Also some system to check image details more easily would be to say the least useful.

sometimes it is impossible, no matter how you try to re-word it.

I believe this email is the first step. It's automated. They will review everything case by case when the time comes. Intentional spammers  will get banned. Unintentional ones will likely get spared.

I'm actually glad they're doing this. The spammers do this to reach the top of the relevent category. They're leveling the playing field.

Yup, but I am slightly worried that I am taken down by 'friendly fire'.

Individually, I understand the meaning of every word in the email. But putting them together in that order they do not add up to anything useful at all.

The problem is that if the OP has a mode of 500 images per site, with current acceptance levels that equates to about 30 images on SS.
