Regarding your questions:

1. Did you say you read metadata then do additional keywords, title/descriptions and categories for us as well? < The tool reads the metadata in the photos, so if you enter title / descriptions / keywords in a tool like lightroom then Photerloo will read that meta data and let you use to upload to all the sites (including the social sites).  However, we also have a AI keywording algorithm so you can add additional keywords with the AI suggestions.

2. Do you pre-review for each of the agencies and give feedback if you reject an image? < No, we don't pre-review the images or ever reject them, we just mass upload them to all your linked sites.

3. Or just upload anything someone might want to distribute? What kind of tracking and reporting is what I should be asking? < Right now we only do the uploading and don't track which site accept or reject, but that is planned for a future feature.

Hey, to answer some of your questions.

Photerloo uploads to 13 different sites: Shutterstock, Adobe Stock, Bigstock Photo, Deposit Photos, 123RF, Alamy, Dreamstime and Freepik (FYI: Freepik a free section and a paid Microstock section, we upload to the paid section).

We also support social sites like: Instagram, Facebook Pages, Twitter, Smugmug and Flickr, these sites are good for people who also sell through their own website because social sites can send traffic back to your own website where you can keep 100% of the sale.

The site is free for 5 photos a week then paid version is $8 a month or $60 a year. Wirestock is 15% so for photographers who make more than $35 a month will pay less for Photerloo yearly than than Wirestock.  Also, Photerloo uploads to your own stock sites where Wirestock I believe you are forced to upload to their account, so Wirestock is 15% forever, where Photerloo is only needed for when you are actively uploading.

It isn't really clear to me how they are going to do subscription sales based on the email, not sure exactly how much they will go down.  However, if you are an individual contributor, I can't see how revenue won't go down for everyone.

I think resetting the Level every January, is the detail where Shutterstock will make the most extra cash and where we will see the biggest cut, compared to doing a 12 month running average for your level. 

The way the new payments are setup it would be much better for a group of contributors to all submit to one then have individual accounts.

Shutterstock just sent out an email that they are changing the levels for contributors to be based on licences each year instead of lifetime earnings.  Then they are going to reset everyone to the lowest on January 1st of the year.

So we will make less at the start of the year while Shutterstock takes a bigger cut until our yearly levels rise.  I am at lifetime earnings of $8000 so I think I will be getting a lower cut because of this change.  What does everyone think about this?

Do you think this is Shutterstock just hurting for cash because of Covid and taking it from contributors? 

This morning I received a email from Skrill saying that Bigstock photo sent me a payment, which is strange because I normally get payments via paypal.  I figured I just clicked something wrong when I requested the payment, however this afternoon I received the payment in Paypal as well.  Exact same amount! Did this happen to anyone else?

Thanks, if you click the keyword to reject it then we take often rejected keywords and stop showing them for certain types of images so it will get better over time, thanks for trying it out.  Do you see it becoming part of your regular workflow?

To close the loop on this, I just received my payment into Paypal today so seems like it is real and not a scam, hopefully will happen a couple more times before my luck runs out.

Well I just put in the request to withdraw the earnings so will see if they show up in my Paypal account in two weeks.

I did some more digging into the stats and it was one photo that was sold on demand many times during those days.  Some website or email list must have linked to that photo to drive all the traffic and purchases but I don't think I will ever find out why, just hope it happens again.

I put a number of photos on Deposit Photos a couple of years ago and have been making about $20-$30 a month since.  I haven't uploaded anything there in a couple of years. 

However, last month I had one day where I made $61 all from on demand sales.  Great, but I figured it was a one off thing, I just checked my numbers for July and in July I had one day with $125 in on demand sales.   Apart from these two days, every day in June and July has been a buck or two as normal.  Anyone know what is happening to get me these big days, and if there is anything I can do to get more of them?

This really sucks!! I have been on 500px for a while and I was starting to get some pretty good sales.  Not the frequency of other sites but one sale was much higher, I had a couple of months where I had two $175 sales in the month. Also, sales had been steadily increasing in frequency over the past six months too...

I have around 450 photos on 123rf and make about $40 a month over there

I have been on Shutterstock for a couple of years now but haven't uploaded recently so my portfolio hasn't grown but my number of big sales like this has been increasing over the past year, think they are selling more of these types of licences.
