Water is moving.... I allways use tripod with water, but it's not the same effect at 3 seconds or at 1/250 seconds

of course there is no bot, bots cant check for trademark infringment, but they do use automated processes to prescreen images for other issues. its not rocket science, as soon as the image is not deemed in focus, its rejected, and then we moan to cs, and then a person will tell you to resubmit,

What about those blurry backgrounds, how do bots know, what they are and not reject them for focus?

I had rejections for blurry effect in water. If was a bot, i think they search on exif speed data. If was sn human, I think he is stupid

I can't imagine nastier photos then those, shoot at 12:00 with sun in full-shining.

Dear, for architecture sun rule is different than with people. More light is better. Take a look into search engine with word "buildings" and you see where is the sun in most pics.

Lately is a bit frustrating. Last days i was sended landscapes focused to infinite in daylight and rejected for focus. Another building photos rejected for poor light when they were taken at 12:00 in a sunny day I dont understand anything

I am crying.  Today I sold one image (with 10 years old more or less).!
Congrats Paulie if your sales are good, not mine. I'm not a prophet to know what is on SS mind but i see somethig different with almost all people

We may all be in the same boat but were all in competition for life jackets. I am waiting for SS figures for some verifiable facts. I suspect the boat is still getting bigger but not as fast as the number of passengers and the amount of luggage they carry.

I look at it more like we all own our own boats and use a travel agency to get paying passengers. There are a limited number of paying passengers and hundreds of new boats are showing up daily to provide services. Because of this, each boat is getting less and less passengers even though the travel agency sees an increase in passenger volume and sales. It's simply supply outpacing demand and some good or bad luck with agency algorithms. Competition at it's finest.

I don't buy this theory. There is no hundreds of boats from one month to other.  For me June was not a bad month but july was worst month ever. It is not possible going near zero  from june to july. I think there is another reason.

This is the worst month ever for me in last eight years. Last july I sold 7x more images than this one. Last year I didn't upload and this year I am uploading almost all days in last 6 months

I will try disconect AF. If problem persist try to make a test holding the camera in a wall or other stable surface.

This pic is one of my best sellers on Fotolia. It was taken with an old film Nikon F601 camera and scanned with an old Polaroid film scanner around 2007. Last month was selled several times one with extended liscence. Maybe camera is not all you need for selling a photo.

SS staff live on grilled tofu and quinoa salads which makes them windy and weak. What they need is fresh meat and boxing or rugby instead of yoga.

Sex, they need more sex

Up here but mass rejections. All rejected in last 2 days for soft  focus. As I see all my pics are exactly same in focus like other in past weeks. I think editors bots are set to reject all (to me at lesast)

HappyBunny, like Rinderart says, try to improve your skills and use photografy forums for receiving comments about your work.
About cameras, sometimes I've use a Kodak Easyshare z990, a slowly camera with little sensor. In my portfolio with major agencies there are many pics made with that camera... and I sell them. The problem is not the camera, you are. Obviusly if you work with a Eos 5D you will make better content if you work with a compact camera, but you need some basis.
