I don't see any sense in this thread. Women can't hold the camera or what?

No they can't they are too busy having babies, cleaning house  and fetching their husband's cocktail after a busy day at the office  ::)

What's up with this one, a feminazi white knighting syndrome in the making?

Bluehost is like ... premium-budget hosting. lol. Not the best and certainly not the worst.

The site looks good man. I'm glad you answered the question about selling designs though :) Good luck.

After being a customer for years with multiple sites, Bluehost's parent company tried to sell me on a security package to prevent wordpress hacks. I said no. A couple months later one of my sites went down. Bluehost said it was hacked and they would charge me hundreds of dollars to "fix" it since it would take an engineer a long time to repair. I went in and removed the bad foreign file affecting my site (after a 5 minute google search for that type of attack and a 1 min fix) and it worked just fine after that, but I switched hosts shortly after.

I am not accusing that company of anything, just that it seemed to be a very big coincidence that the exact issue they tried to up-sell me on occurred right after I said no. Plus it was really slow and my sites went down a few times a year. Happy I am done with them.

You switched to which?

I used bluehost in the past when I had a site selling my images. It was slow then, too, because there are many, many sites crammed onto their server. There are some things you may be able to do to speed it up a little, but if you don't pay the money for a better hosting plan or dedicated server, you might be stuck. I know I didn't want to spend the money for a better hosting plan, so I went with the basic plan. It's a dilemma...you don't want to spend the money if you aren't going to make any back, but if you don't spend the money, the site is difficult for buyers to navigate.

Better hosting? Like what for example?

Ah updating the blue host plan. I thought you were discrediting them for another company.

Helo,

After several years of freelancer and sales on microstock sites, I said to put all my work on a platform and sell my works. Just my work, no collaborations or affiliates.

The website is:  https://buzzpixelstock.com/

I want to sell some of the design logo I've made for different clients, plus digital files under the Royalty Free license. And for Romania country I can deliver Canvas prints.
The website is made with WordPress plugin from cmsaccount.com
I would like your opinion on the website, I still have some changes, but I think it's 95% ready, what do you say?
Thank you in advance for advice.

Sorry for my english.

Just wondering, are they doing well? Is the site visible enough on search engines?

On a note of 10 how much would you rate your actual revenue based on the efforts going into it? Are you living solely from ms? How do you see ms in 10 years?

Two years ago (Nov 2015) I had 446 dls from a SS portfolio of around 500 images. Now with 50% more images my dls have more than halved. Goes to show how things have changed so quickly.  :(
It's not surprising if you have only uploaded 250 images in two years.

More uploads would balance things according to you?

sadly my ratio of images online to images sold per month has dropped the longer I have been selling. This has been offset somewhat by increased return per download, but mostly I am uploading to try to keep up with my past sales levels.

It has been a long time since I have had a number of sales = or > the number of images I have for sale. Not that I produce the most wildly commercial images, but it is sad when a daily seller suddenly disappears from the first page of search and becomes a monthly seller.

I understand you mate.

What has been you highest number of downloads in a month? Mine with a very little portfolio, managed to have 400 in a month. I don't know if we can say it's a lot or not since I'v got a tiny portfolio, but overall it's a pleasing experience.

These sites are affiliated with stock sites. Stock sites use them as a third party to drag more traffics towards
Them.

Seriously scary considering people take Facebook as a legit platform far from scam. Scarier coz no big mainstream gonna cover this.

Maybe people in France don't like your work? You can pay and get as many eyes on your ad as you want. If you aren't offering something they want it won't matter.

I agree 100%. Tbh I would prefer having 0 likes than having likes from people who live in a country I'm not targeting.

I'm guessing you're not watching news regulary? Nowdays there are plenty "refugees" from those countries in France. Tens of thousands of them. Maybe they liked your page? Because, this is France now.

Come on bud

I made a post recently about how facebook charged me $25 for an ad that i choosed to run for 2 days for $5 each day. I talked about how they charged me more than what i'm supposed to pay.
Two days later, i made another ad on my fb page. I choosed France as the targeted democratic where i wanted the ad to be shown. I made sure everything was right before pushing the final button. When the ad ended, i faced a dilemma that i faced before when advertising on fb ( it's been a long time since), the people who like my page come from another country. Most of the likes come from Indian, Pakistani, thailand and Bangladeshi people!!! I TARGET FRANCE and got not one like from someone of France. Can anyone here explain to me how this work? I know it's not the best place but i can't see any place where people can help me out. Even facebook won't reply back. Below is a screenshot of the people who like the post. I swear, all of them had Indian names jokes apart ( AND I TARGETED FRANCE!!!!!)

If you double your portfolio every 6 months, you'll maintain the same income probably.

Seems legit but think of that guy who got 10000 images online. That's must be kickass to double in 6 months lol.

Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

10,000? That's minor these days. There are 500,000- 1,000,000 portfolios out there. Even if it took them 10 years it's 100,000/year upload.
